Hello. This is Silkroad Online. This is our new policy to protect our game from illegal program. 1. Silkroad Online scheduled to enforce strongly on an illegal program usage as such as auto hunting program called ‘BOT’. (Brand new BOT detecting system would be applied)
2. Illegal program usage will not grant you to access the Silkroad Online. (When you can’t login, simply reinstall the game to play it normally.) 3. When continuously illegal program usage is detected, the account would be restricted. As the result, only normal client should be used. Any programs which might be considered as illegal programs should not be used. HAHAHAH JOYMAX AGAIN DDDD Approximately 1,700 bots have been banned.

(Brand new BOT detecting system would be applied) .... would be... not will be? yeah I would be a rich if Joymax gave me their profits...
heh if you cant play, reinstall game... not much of a problem is it?
account restricted? not even banned anymore...

My friend just told me that
2. Illegal program usage will not grant you to access the Silkroad Online. (When you can’t login, simply reinstall the game to play it normally.)
is completely false.

I for one certainly hope they actually make the effort to fulfill this unlike their last "campaign"s which did nothing. If this is the case, we should see an actual implementation on the next client patch (I would assume Legend 4+'s client) and server sided related issues might already be placed into effect as of tonight (although I doubt that as it probably would take a bit more time to roll out on all the servers).
Unless they are only targeting clientless programs and in which case they may already have extra logic in the client that just has to be activated through a packet change. Wishful thinking on my part, but it might be possible. If that is the case, then no client patch is needed and most detection logic is going to be on the server, as it should be.
I guess we will have to just wait and see if anything changes over the next month. I'm not holding my breath, but even if they managed to ban all the gold spammers in town, that would certainly be a good start.

I searched Drew_Benton in google and this came up... <<If you ever post a link to a bot forum again prepare to meet my ban hammer>> - BarotixFirst sentence plawks? and <<If you ever post a link to a bot forum again prepare to meet my ban hammer>> - BarotixTopic title plawks? Yes I do randomly search peoples names on google. So now we have the maker of the clientless stuff on these forums. Right under everyone's noses. Sorry about the links, I didn't know what else to put.

guess botters will have to buy silk again for awhile..... Karras wrote: Government is against war, but they allow weapon making. Same logic, different case. same logic how? the government would build up arms to defend itself in case of a bad situation. its the same is america imperalizing (cant spell that word) it was all in order to defend itself in cause of harm.

Lol ur smart well most people i used to talk to were all like "buy silk and you wont get banned" talked to them not to long ago. now its just "joymax doesn't care you wont get banned no need for silk". might i add with all the auto login systems botters get you don't need a premium anymore to log in.
