M from Malaysia, having tha same problem as u all and more. Got that Failed to connect to the server (C9) almost all the time even when the server is populated only.(I'm a premium gold user!). When i get connected, it's either being DC after several mins or lagging so badly that me and my pet died a few times. I've been to Alexander n Persia before, this never happen. U ask us to support but we also need your support. Or r u so involve with Silkroad Europe that we are being pass over for the time being?

I'm beginning to loose my all sense of humor today. Get DC more than 10 times, lagging so bad that i can go to the toilet and come back to see me in that same place n position, get C9 more often than i can count my fingers on both side twice ... all that while i lowered every available option to the lowest i possibly could. I did all this just to save my Premium Gold time. For your information, SRO, i've got schedule n other things to do beside staring at the @#$% monitor trying to log in n losing my temper thinking about my wasted free times.

Now it's getting from bad to worse. I have to try to log in 3-4 times, getting that C9 messages, and when i get to log in, i get ditched after 2-3 mins. This is no fun. SRO, r u ppl listening? Or r u ppl having the fun of your life counting easy money? We players r the one that make what u r, remember that, n we want to hear some reply from you ppl.

I'm gonna keep writing in until i get some attention. Same old routine after getting of the steam, try to log in a few times, get the C9 messages, when i finally log in, get ditched after a few mins. Try to log in a few times again, get the C9 messages, after a few try able to log in. The game lagged big time, and i wait n wait for the char to move till i get bored. Turn the game off. I want to ask u ppl at SRO something, if u r in my position ( and a paying one too), how would u feel? I'm speaking on behalf of thousand of other players. If i have to, i will get their support to get your attention. One piece of advice, dont be too ambitious to open a new Europe site since you ppl still cant solve the existing problems.

You might actually want to write to the SRO people. This is just a forum site. Atleast I don't think anyone that works for joymax is on here. You might be better off trying the silkroad website and writing to them. Just trying to help

@lanfearii
don't spam pls, this is only a fan site. if you need attention from joymax, post at the ifficial forum on http://www.silkroadonline.net

Abt the whole connection problem.
I've called up my ISP, i did a ping towards the ip address mordingdew gave, did a tracert too.

The ping results was 100% packet loss
The tracert im not sure how to read.

My isp did the same thing, ping and tracert.
According to them, their ping results was also 100% packet loss and they didn't block any services of Joymax. They say it is impossible for them to block any gaming services unless directed.
We experience the lag and frequent dcing since 18th June 2007. They say there were no block towards silkroadonline or anysort in June.
They also say that they are very certain that the problem is with JM's server itself.
But im not sure how true is that statement since i was only talking to my isp's employee on the phone.

But my guess is, JM is utilising alot of its resources on testing the new Euro update, thus sacraficing some gamers' experience.
Y did i think that?
They did take out the notice they place up themselves with no explanation.

So when can we expect a smooth game again? perhaps after they have done all their testings.

P.S: If you really want to play, plat at 8AM~1PM(GMT +8:00).
You still lag, but at least you won't get dced right after you log in.
Grinding is still not advisable. Stalling/shopping is ok.

I'm back to normal again today, i wonders what happens to others. I did complaint to Joymax Cerus, maybe they did something after all. But, .... hehehe, i cant put down my grouse there anymore cause i've been banned from that site, due to their message that my password is incorrect. At least i can play my game in peace.

Peace to u all.

Logic dictates that unless JoyMax actually discriminates on IP address, that as long as some (most) users do not suffer these problems, the problem likely resides within your own network or that of your ISP. I for one have no problems as long as a regularly reset my router and switch (once a week). They have a tendency to start acting up if I don't reset them, causing exactly the problems you are complaining about here.

I would have been surprised if ping would have given you anything, since most NAT routers block those nowadays, but traceroutes can work depending on the type. It should at least give you an idea of where the bottlenecks in the network are. If you get C9 errors however, you know you have some serious connection problems, like incorrect DNS entries.
