You don't even need Zygor's guide anymore. I leveled 80-85 in less than 24 hours just using the in game Quest Helper. I'd suggest using that, it's really efficient.

Well it's efficient but it doesn't pick the best quests xp/time wise for you so zygor still beats it there...

I actually think it does. It seemed like when I completed a quest, it would choose the next logical quest in the order.

The new quest system doesn't even make the guide useful as now you only get like 3-4 quest in the same area rather than 15 all over the map.

The only useful thing would be a guide to say what zones you should do but even then the use of heirlooms make that moot as you'll outlevel the zones.

In the bloodelf starting area the quests are randomly scattered across the island, and zygor really helped there. Maybe from 80-85 the quests are more intuitive, but I'd still take the "free" Zygor's guide over the regular questing, it's just easier, I don't have to look for anything just do what it tells me to.

The bloodelf quests weren't updated with thh shattering. Anything else pre 60 is and the belf area doesn't take overly long.

Started raiding again with the guild and we did Magmaw, Omnomnom and Maloriak so we were pretty pleased.

The audit shows missing gems, enchants, a buckle, and a glyph. You should at least gem and enchant your gear even if they're not the best ones.

The second problem is that you're way below the hit and expertise caps. If you can't hit the mob (hit rating) and/or if the mob dodges or parries your attacks (expertise rating), you'll have a hard time generating threat. You should reforge your gear to reach these caps. If reforging isn't enough, use hit and expertise gems and enchants.

Nah, it's better to reforge out of hit/expertise into avoidance and mastery as threat should be moot due to vengeance/poking your dps to wait 5 seconds. Your healers will love you for it.

And I didn't actually looked at your armory but don't gem full stamina, but rather stam with mastery/parry (depending on the colour).

Warriors don't gem avoidance though, in full t11 I have 9% dodge 12% parry and 44% block on the PTR, it's mainly mastery and stamina. Reforging your dodge and parry to hit and expertise is the best thing, by going off of WoWPopular.com it says the highest rated prot warrior reforge is Dodge to Mastery and not far behind is Parry to Hit.

That should have everything you need as far as stat weights and what to gem/enchant/reforge.

20mins of camping.
Karoma.
Funny thing is I was complaining how bad my obsession towards rare pets were to my guild mere seconds before npcscan went off. Even after 4 previous spirit beasts tames, my hands still spazz out and shake and I almost forget how to press buttons.
Spoiler!

I've been streaming our 25 mans if anyone is interested. I'll post the link here later tonight.

We got Nefarian down to 22% last night before our add tank died. It was epic.

Been a while since I posted in this thread.

Anyway I've been leveling my priest and it's actually fun to heal now. No longer am I casting bubbles and then going AFK until the end of the fight.

I haven't been around either. I was so busy with WoW, leveling, gearing, raiding and doing arenas and other stuff. Anywayz I'm enjoying the expension, still playing my hunter. Unfortunately hunter is terrible in arenas but at least we rock in pve at the moment. We will be nerfed of course because why should a pure dps class top the damage (at least thats what blizzard thinks), so I'll probably be around crying you guys a river.

Today, in wow. I laughed
GhostCrawler wrote:
In case you aren't already aware, Luck of the Draw is the name of the buff you get for grouping with random people using Dungeon Finder. It currently provides a 5% buff to damage, healing, and health if you have at least one random player in your group. With patch 4.0.6, we are increasing this buff to 5% damage, healing, and health per random player, up to a maximum of 15%.

In the process of working on this change we actually discovered that the Luck of the Draw buff has not been working in Cataclysm at all, save for a few specific dungeons. This means that the difficulty in almost all normal and Heroic dungeons for those using the Dungeon Finder tool was higher than expected. Still, with that issue corrected in 4.0.6, we feel the bump up to 15% for three or more random players found through the Dungeon Finder is a necessary change.

The intent of Luck of the Draw is to help make up for the lack of coordination, communication, and familiarity that pick up groups suffer relative to organized groups of guild members and friends. Cataclysm dungeons, especially on Heroic mode, are quite challenging and ask for more group organization than the Wrath of the Lich King dungeons did. Therefore, Luck of the Draw became relatively weaker in Cataclysm. I'm painting the picture with unfairly large brush strokes here, but in general, Heroic dungeons are of appropriate difficulty for organized groups, but just brutal on Dungeon Finder groups. Players wonder, and rightly so, why Dungeon Finder supports Cataclysm Heroic dungeons at all when the chance of success is so low.

We think buffing Luck of the Draw is a good way to go about correcting the difficulty differences because it makes things slightly easier on PUGs without depriving the organized groups of a fun challenge. We also think the bonus is modest enough that it won't encourage organized groups to split up and just PUG instead - - the success rate for PUGs relative to organized groups is just that far behind. We still think you'll have more fun and a greater chance of success running dungeons with friends, but when that isn’t possible, we hope this change will make Dungeon Finder a more pleasant experience. Also remember that patch 4.0.6 is adjusting the difficulty of some bosses that are particularly unforgiving, such as Ozruk in Heroic Stonecore, though to be fair, we are buffing some underperforming encounters as well. In addition, we are offering larger Justice Point rewards for players who just prefer the faster pace and greater success rate of normal dungeons, and by the time 4.1 comes out everyone will have access to more powerful gear, making the older content even easier. But then there'll be new challenges to face!

We'd like to thank everyone who has provided us with feedback. We do listen, even if we don't immediately deploy every design change suggested by the player community. Our intent is to make the game fun for a wide variety of players, which can be quite a challenge when you have a community this large and this varied. We hope you continue to enjoy the game, and look forward to sharing more changes (and a few surprises) in the months ahead.

Well, i don't mind that to much, guess my daily Tank will be a little easier

You know today i was healing throne of tides. I joined at the trash pull right before the first boss because i guess the other healer had left. There was a DK and a Warrior arguing over who was actually the tank. We pulled trash and the DK DnD'd the CC and didn't understand why everyone hated him. We then got the first boss and he immediately stood in a gyser and was killed. We kill the boss without him and when it was time for Ulthok the tank pulled him into the middle of the room and started the fight there. The place quickly filled up with dark circles and then the tank proceeded to back the boss into one of the few corners of the room with no exit. We all died...

This luck of the draw buff will largely not have any effect on the random groups because like they already said, %15 to anything won't negate the many kill mechanics heroic bosses/Trash have these days. I really don't understand the mentality that this buff will somehow make everything easier and remove the challenge. It'll do exactly as it's intended and give PUGs and slight leg up when randoming for dungeons. Once this goes live you'll still see people getting hit by Corobus, tanks failing at Shatter, people missing interrupts in SFK, people standing in gysers, eating flamebreaths in Grim Batol etc. The only thing this might do is give the peopel who survive a slightly better chance of still completing the run despite the horrible players the have to deal with....
