Most pyro crits hit me for around 3000 damage if I don't resist any of it, so thats 15,000 damage reduced by 20% means I take 3000 less (Leaving me with around 2k health). Are they just allowed to hit you once?

Well, if I was going 1 vs 5 of course I would lose, however arena is 5v5 meaning that half the mages would be dead in that same time span from my teammates (fire mages are horrid in PvP) and I would be healed to full and line of sighting them to cancel their further casts. 2100 rated arena here and I've never seen a fire mage past the 1600 bracket.

No-one EVER mentioned multiboxing 5 POMP mages in Arena, so wtf are you going on about? :/ Oh, and something else; WoW isn't entirely based around Arena, NOR is it balanced around it. Cuch just showed us the horror of the possibility of 5 POMP mages facemelting you at once.

Oh, and something else; WoW isn't entirely based around Arena, NOR is it balanced around it. Cuch just showed us the horror of the possibility of 5 POMP mages facemelting you at once. I don't understand why you're becoming so hostile when I pointed out that 5 POM mages isn't really that great. Sure, someone can kill a player 5 vs 1 in the wild, or even in a battleground, however both of those are extremely insignificant in WOW. It would be similar to having a level 70 rogue ganking level 60s in the wild (sure it's possible, but theres really no point to it). Also for the past year WOW has been entirely focused around arena, with promotions and huge prizes for the top arena players. Have they given out $30,000 prizes or $5000 laptops to the top battleground players or raiders? (No, they haven't. Arenas have put WOW into the competitive gamer sports market) Also WOW is most definitely balanced around arena, most the class changes in the last couple months have been derived based on different class performance in arenas.

Please point out where I stated 5 PoM pyro mages in arena would be good? I said it was fun, that's all. WoW isn't "entirely" around arenas. Raiding is still a big part of the game. PS - I hear it's really, really hard to get high arena ratings with a lock...no really...

I'm not going to pick apart your arena ratings or anything, but Priest/Mage/Rogue is the most commonly played setup in 3v3 above 2k rating, so to try to insinuate that it's any harder to get 2k+ as a mage is a joke.
Also while my first post may have been a bit braggartish by saying that I could probably live through 5 POM pyros it wasn't meant to trash anyone's previous posts. I was simply saying 5 POM pyros isn't exactly god like (and its very much a 1 trick pony).
My warrior alt could live through 5 POM pyros naked (well, with just a shield) as well by using the Spell Reflect + sit spam trick (as all 5 would be reflected and he'd take 0 damage for the 6 seconds I /sat while using spell reflect).
Hell, my paladin alt would bubble and ignore all the damage together.
I'm just showing that 5 POM pyros is a waste of time and the same as a 70 rogue ganking lowbies.

All they ever did was imply that 5 POM-PYRO's at the same time would dish out some sexeh damage.
No-one mentioned arena. No-one mentioned your lock. No-one mentioned ratings. No-one mentioned resilience. No-one mentioned your shield. No-one mentioned spell reflect. No-one mentioned warrior tricks. No-one mentioned your paladin. No-one mentioned bubble.
It's called being hypothetical. Try it, u'll like it.

I'm just showing that 5 POM pyros is a waste of time and the same as a 70 rogue ganking lowbies. A well played mage is good in arenas, yes. Do I play my mage well in arena? Not really. Do I care atm? Not really. I focus more on PvE than PvP, when I have time, I'll practice pvp a bit more, but I don't have the time now. No one ever argued that 5 PoM pyro mages would be good at much of anything. I said it's fun. It's especially fun running around BGs and popping my IWIN macro for big numbers, but when I'm doing serious PvP I go frost. Btw, the warrior would spell reflect all 5 PoM Pyros if they were at the same time even without exploiting a bug since spell reflect can reflect a bunch of spells at once in the same way mages can get shatter combos (both spells go off while the target is still frozen). The paladin can bubble yes, but it'd take an idiot to waste PoM pyro on a bubbled paladin or even a paladin who might react quickly enough and survive it with bubble. A well played mage can be beaten by a mediocre warlock much of the time. Not like Druid/Lock takes much skill anyway in 2v2. Druid/Lock/Warrior is an interesting combo to fight as RMP in 3v3, and that's what my team had the most trouble with usually and it could go either way. Your posts reek of bragging, tone it down a bit and have fun in the biggest thread on SRF

Oh wow.
That's Farking hilarious.
'At least I have 200 FPS in WoW'
Damn. xD lol, wow graphics are weird. I can play crysis with most things set to the highest and get 30-40fps and i just got cod4 and found my framerate is about 50-120fps (depending on the situation) with every setting set to the highest but wow only runs at 25-30fps

hey guys i need ur help. im making the hunter i started a lvl 29 twink, bought all the boe's except for the pants (hard to get :/) (theres a nice BoP from sm but i cant put 30stam&10agi on that, can only be done on BoE's as of patch x.xx) now i need the Raptor Hunter Tunic ( http://www.wowhead.com/?item=4119) together with the best gun to get in 20-29 bracket: http://www.wowhead.com/?item=17687 (3 more dps then outrunners bow/gun from pvp vendor) For those 2 i need to do the big quest chain in STV, raptor, panther and tiger mastery. The quest is available at lvl 28, will i ding to 30 whilst in the process? (We're looking at a lot of quests here, roughly about 15) edit: just thought of a nice trick, just take 3 other people with you next to your booster so the xp devides through all of the people in the party And another question, whats the enchant called that puts agi on ur headpiece? i took engineering up so i can make the stam+spirit headpiece. thx

Medallion of the alliance/horde.
its a trinket with some resillience, and it's primary use is to break snares/fear etc when u use it.
