Guys what are your thoughts on DK tank?
I'm thinking of maining my level 59 DK but idk if I should roll Blood or Frost, I like tanking but maybe it's not the best idea?

DK tanks are imo the best tanks right now. Their self healing abilities make them wonderful for healers. They have great CDs. If they're a blood elf they have 3 interrupts. They can deathgrip. They have Great Single Target and AoE threat. I'd run with two DK tanks if paladins didn't bring so much utility...

Okay guys so I'm a level 63 Blood DK, I really want to create more and more alts (I'm a fcken altoholic :sosad:), but I'm trying my best to stick with this DK until 85 where I can get looms and then I'll be in the Disneyland for Alts with all the heirlooms and shazz. I really wish this section would be more active, it's a shame By the way, how do you guys level, do you quest it up and speedlevel or do you enjoy the occasional instance and bg? Since I'm pretty new I do enjoy dungeons alot but I start to realize it's kind of a waste of time if I want to ding 85 ASAP.

Not that I am a WoW player and know how it works really, but isnt dungeon grinding the fastest way to level? A rl mate of mine always did it when he rolled alts.

Don't think so, but I can't say for sure.

No, Quests are the fastest way to level. Questing and Random Dungeons is slightly faster though, but don't just stand around in town waiting for an instance. You could do 20 quests in that time.

We're actually looking good DPS wise. Have to reforge to get more Mastery, but damn.

I've just rolled a rogue with all the available heirlooms except the helmet and the ring of course. Grinding especially with the Guild Perk can be really effective. Heirloom items allow you to finish off mobs pretty fast. For a Silkroad player it would not be that much time to grind up a character to 60 or 70, but not sure if it's still that good above 70. As you were saying Lempi Questing is really effective, but about dungeons...I think only the first run in each instance worth the time and the trouble. Dungeon quests and the run itself gives you almost 1,5 level, again in Heirlooms.

I usually queue up for random bg's if something good isnt on call to arms while I'm leveling. Questing in between battles, leaving if theres retards like 12 people going for the flag in EOTS.
The experience is really nice in battlegrounds, the honor points you can use at 60/70 for some nice epic gear etc etc. 77-79 get cataclysm BoE's on the auction house and pwn.
Doing dungeons gets stupid after 60, random gear you get from the "useful" satchel is lower ilvl than >lv60 stuff...

Hating on Cho'gall 10 man.
Adds resisting traps and our 3rd healer went shadow and is nigh useless spamming mindspike on things.
5/6 in BWD and 3/4 in BoT 10 man.
Throne will be tackled before Nef and after Cho or so we planned.

Al'Akir isn't bad on 10. There's definitely a lot more room due to less people on the platform.
We put some attempts into Halfus Heroic. For some reason they brought 5 tanks and so our DPS wasn't high enough.

Well we're aware of Al'akir not being overly hard, but the rng loottable is meh.

Am I weird for enjoying Archaeology?
My friends all seem to hate it and I only have one friend with it maxed.

Plus now that they changed the values of some of the grey items, it's almost profitable. Not to mention the chance at epic items.

Yeah I made over 2000g just from leveling it on my paladin, as well as getting the raptor mount and pet and 3 other rares.

On the other hand Archeology can be really frustrating. For example I've been trying to get the Tol'vir mount for over 2 weeks now and still getting only commons. But yeah it's kinda relaxing and at least you can do something while in arena queue.

Is it me or is battlenet just horribly designed. I'm getting fed up with these errors.

I've been leveling my hunter and finding out that stat inflation between expansions is quite insane. I decided I would buy some Cataclysm greens from the AH and throw a few cheap enchants on it, like I do with all my gear, and then wait to hit 78. Well, I just dinged 78 and put on my new gear. And simply... Wow. Before: After:

I know when my hunter hit 78 i threw on the Cata gear as well and i was just WTF epic dps. It's fun when you can roll into Dungeons with more HP than your tank

Ditched my horde account with all my toons, cash, effort and guildies.
Started a completely new account on Eonar EU Alliance. Just got my new dwarf warrior to 40.
Best idea ever? Probably not, but having a ton of fun and thats what matters atm.
