Yogg night last night, downed again - this time only a few tries (getting better! imo) double vanq again argh! lol

Went to WSG with a couple friends; lost horribly to a team with a godmode ret pally with two resto druids and a priest backing them up, sigh sigh sigh

Did wintergrasp, for some reason horde had seige engines by the masses within a couple minutes of the start. Sigh again. Go go RPGG?

LOL I know right! We finally got serious and took our A Group in there and downed him first try. Amazing how easy it is when no one is dying unnecessarily. Went to Ignis and found out that they nerfed the adds before him?

Dunno, but healers were lagging so we had to call that too. Picking up later. I'm loving WoW every time we step back into Ulduar.

Dropped http://www.wowhead.com/?item=45698 from Kologarn for my off spec. Both pally healers there already had. I came.

Ill admit tho I've totally caked the raid; I offtank that fight so I gotta get the adds. I got picked for the arm, it put me down when it died. I got picked for laser when the arm put me down. I charged the adds that just spawned and dragged that laser through about 10 people. Heh.

And their all like HEY THX Ryoko :x

Yes they nerfed ignis trash a while back. Back when it was crazy, I resorted to old school tactics and had a hunter kite one of the ragers away. When the other dies, he FD's and lets it come back to the raid. Post nerf, we still do it that way.

Wish I could've got to enjoy it like that. =[ We just split tank the Ignis pulls, with the necessary LOS on the initial trash of course.

Question for you Ryoko because I'm too lazy to Google for this and battle my way through page after page; on the Iron Council fight, does the health of the other guys reset when one of the others die? (like, go back to full)

<- already starting to plot and scheme for hard modes

omg omg I finally got to do Ulduar! The fights are hella easy -.- I mean maybe because it's 10 man and not on hardmode, but I'm a little shocked at how easy it was. We only got to the council but we started really late and people were falling asleep so we called it. Got the Razorscale sword, respecced into sword spec, paired it with my widow's death and now I'm raping dps meters yo. I KNEW there was a reason I've been rolling on swords, fists, and random weapons and stashing them in my bank lol. Also got my tier hands out of a pug OS 25. I am such a loot whore, I love it. /end happy dance

Yeah they do, we're working on council hardmode atm too, soooo frustrating.

and our WG is bugged, I guess no for you guys? Our timer is broken, so you can't successfully defend, but we did hold alliance out for ~50mins yesterday heh.

25 man? 10 is so easy compared, what I saw of it

We tried some 25 man last night. Can I ask you....

Runemaster first? Dealing with stormcaller second, and coping with static disruption while you DPS him? Spread out, or bunched up on stealbreaker? If bunched up, what about overload? >.<

Stormcaller first? Dealing with death runes + static distruption? No way in hell we can stack on this one, with the death rune popping up thats the entire raid standing in a death rune.

I think my guild *has* to do runemaster first, because we NEED the 50% more DPS from the power rune... but we can't survive that far -.-

I made a mage, got it to level 4, then had to go AFK quickly... Let's just say my bodily functions arent functioning as they should.

Then i played a mage on the test realm (my last pre-made :x ) and deleted my mage on retail.

We did runemaster first. We all grouped up when on stormcaller, except for the tank on steelbreaker or hunters due to that dot. we only had to deal with 1 overload, then just got on steelbreaker. ended up wiping on steelbreaker at 40%, we just haven't gotten everything worked out.
I may be missing some details, we did it two weeks ago and only for a few hours.

I did Uld10 (just in before reset) and... well it was unorganized and we kept wiping on Razor...
So only FL down. I consider the whole raid as a grand failiure. Let's just hope that tomorrows guild run will go better.
Oh, I also noticed that I reached 4th best gear in the guild :)

Yeah I thought about that.

Kill runemaster first, easy enough.

Everyone, except two hunters stacking on lightning guy.
Tank with steelbreaker too
This way, whole raid is in melee range of breaker, no dot.
Overload, everyone out, including breaker tank
Run the same way as breaker tank, try to stay in melee range
Back in on top of stormcaller

So sketchy though =( almost better to just "Spread out to avoid killing people with static disruption". The problem with this is, the melee get static disruption if their not stacked on stealbreaker, and thats mass deaths

I could have JUST melee and stealbreaker stacked on stormcaller. Make the range spread out.

-------------------

AS for what I did

Did an easy FL+3 one shot then XT002 hardmode one shot, cleared up to two keepers, leaving the other two for hardmode day tomorrow. I finally got my T8.5 gloves, I've been passing for every hunter, shaman, tank that wants them -.- I want shoulders.

How do you tell the difference between hardmode and not hardmode? I'm not running the raids so I just show up, deeps, and don't really pay much attention. Got thru IC cleared last night, what comes after that? My uld 10 group the other night stopped there.

Hardmode XT initiates when you break his heart (kill it).

He heals full, he gains about 60% (close to 35 million I think), increases his damage and all his ability damage by 15%.

People who get gravity bombs leave void zones in their place

People who get life bombs leave a Life Spark.

Life sparks have about 170k health (?) and hit for around 15-18Kish on the tank and must be DPSed as well (our damage done was around 54m total? about there.)

And of course, 10 minute enrage timer to do all this.

10 man hardmode is way way easier, if your doing 10's - Try it! Its not so bad, and you get better loot.

Ohhh cool. Glad they explained that when they told me when the heart comes out "dps it real hard". If I had known he was going to turn into a cracked out robot I would have saved my cooldowns :D Hoepfully we pick up our 25 tonight and keep clearing, but I wouldn't mind going for hardmodes on the first couple bosses in a 10. I didn't think they were that bad. I'm only pulling about 4k dps, behind the other rogues who're pulling 6k :( Need more loots.

Yeah defiantly save cooldowns for when the heart drops, you get a +dmg modifier on it and if you're going for hardmode it isn't easy to kill, we barely kill it in 25m majority of the time.
I'll try paying more attention to Council hardmode if we do it this week also.
10m hardmodes are fairly easy. I'd suggest trying XT, Hodir, Thorim and maybe freya, they aren't very complicated.
As for what I've done, well last night my 2s partner and I didn't do so well, everyone has their bad days I suppose.

Tanked UK. Didn't get anything coz I didn't need anything, just the quest rewards though. Then I did CoT Hillsbrad. That was actually cool, except for the part where each one of us had to get CoT quest first, one by one. -.-"

Yea I'd be interested to hear about the hardmode council fight, so far it was the hardest fight on regular mode that I've seen. I haven't even been to Hodir, Thorim or Freya on regular 10 or 25 yet so it'll probbaly be a while before I get to see the hardmodes :D
