I meant I (feral druid) was doing 2s with my shammy (guildmate) Shaman/Hunter Shaman/Rogue Shaman/Feral Shaman/DK All solid comps. A good shaman just will not run out of mana in arenas.

lol
funny story, we were doing 5s and they had a shaman wit them. we all thought it was resto cuz the only other healer class they had was a priest, so we were all trying our hardest not to give that shaman ne mana. then someone says in vent "wtf, did he just lava burst", the ret immediately repents the priest and we burst the shaman down.
funny =P

Yeah, lately I've been seeing shamans that looks like a Resto in first glance but is actually an Elemental when you start getting Thunderstormed, Lava Bursted and etc. When teamed against another similar class like them, Balance druid, they can be quite a pain.
As for arena, I've been teaming up with a Retridin friend of mine for 2v2 gap, don't think I'm his best possible partner for that bracket. To be honest, I don't seem to fit in perfectly with anyone at all. Nope not healers, not casters not melee too now it seems. I joined his team at 1300+ for fun, and it actually worked out for a bit and we got to 1550+ before the points came in yesterday. Got him some beginner PvP gears thinking we can try rock the bracket but instead we are down back to upper 1400+, highest we got was like 10 points away from 1600. I think we might have just "leveled up" our hidden ratings and now we are actually fighting decent PvPers and we've been encountering for some lineups which aren't exactly best for us.
As for 3v3, we started with both of us with a Resto Druid but it didn't seem to worked so we decided to get a DK in for massive bursts. It worked fine until Paladins started to use Hands of Protection on their healers which kinda fucks us over since we are all melee. Tried again with a Resto Shaman earlier today and both of us are really not liking the combination... Sure, Heroism can be a nice buff but to me Shamans just lacks the X factor in PvP, can't really describe what they lack though. Wish we can get a competent Mage into our team.

Good resto shamans play very offensively actually. The telltale sign that it's a resto though is if Earthshield is on someone.

Druid/shammies never die. I've seen shamans do good stuff in arenas but there always seemed to be better combos out there, especially since WF is a bit counterproductive for mut rogues.

Resto and Balance druids are still pretty damn squishy. Feral is hard to kill, I'm a tough kitty to krack.
