I really like the render. And, I actually made this sig, using your style for the Comic Book Heroes sig.

Just try a different style with the same render. If i dont like something, i close it and start from scratch.

^That's what I do a lot lately. Takes me at least 5 tries before I make one tag complete.
As for the sig, lacks something that will fill it up. Not sure what you should do though.

In my opinion you shouldnt make it so smooth. Try to roughen it up and sharpen it to hell.

Just my 2 cents :D

Hmmm, what class are you? I think you're a low novice. Hmm, I'm not sure though...what do you think rek? I would say a solid novice would be pushing it though. :) You should really take a look at my tags, yo. Cuz I'm like totally amazing see...see, see. Awesome, amirite? 8)

k, enough of that inside joke.

I'm assuming that "X" is a light source? Well then add the reflective light on to your render, sometimes ideas come to you when you're working on the smaller details. But if you're really dead on ideas then save the psd, store it away , and come back to it on a later date.

Eww..
The colors are just plain bad...

And the c4d placement could use some work, it's like making you look into the center of it.
It has no flow.

And as rek said, start over. I think it's the render holding you back, find a better one.
