Eh, no need for thanks Riz. Us AC old farts stick together..even if the Wildcards had all been used up I would have thought up of something for you.
@Ex
Chris got back to me and is apparently in another city so you know you guys can go yell at him for not thinking ahead.....I'm looking the other way. *whistles* Rest assured the moment I get his submission though all the threads will be up along with last rounds Art Wall.

Ol3n's a ketchup squirting nub--his combo's suck when it really counts.
I make an effort to check SRF at least once a day to see if I've been sent his submission or if it's been posted but no go. I'm guessing he's procrastinating and is avoiding the forum in general due to guilt.

Perhaps there should be a statue. You still have my submission.
Will you supply all the marble? I, of course, will be your godly model for said statue.
Sure, I think I've given him more than adequate amount of time; a statute of limitation sounds right. I'll get on that right after I eats my pasta I just made. Nom!

I'm assuming you've mistaken Halloween with Christmas in which case I would make a perfect Decoration, my looks totally angelic.
Anyway been waiting on Riz and Melez, even sent them reminder Pm's, so that we could get the Wildcards up first but it doesn't seem like that will be happening. I'll give till tonight and then just update either the new themes or have the Wildcard Threads up. Fates decision.
Let's organize this a little better so that we don't have people dropping in and out whenever the hell they feel like it. I'm not pointing fingers, I just want to propose some firmer ground rules so that interest is not lost. We've been at this for two months and three days and aren't even completely through the second round.
1.Deadlines in Regular Competition a)The deadline for the first round of the regular competition shall be set by the event coordinator.
b)A request may be made for an extension following the rules laid out in section 3.Requesting an Extension.
c)Once the deadline for the first round is past, a voting deadline shall be set by the event coordinator.
Spoiler!
_c.1)To allow flexibility for the event coordinator and competition as a whole, no minimum or maximum limit shall be set on on the voting deadline. _c.2)The deadline, however, shall be set in a timely fashion with regards, first and foremost, to the competitors. That being said, the event coordinator should not feel pressured into posting voting polls immediately after the deadline. Again, the keywords in this rule are 'flexibility for the event coordinator.'
d)All subsequent competitions are to follow the same pattern laid out in rules a), b), and c) of this section.
2.Deadlines in Wildcard Competition a)The date set for the wildcard should be strictly enforced or if an extension is implemented, that extension should only be implemented once and the final date and time of said extension should be strictly enforced.
b)Regardless of any circumstances, if the piece from the challenger is not in on time (with or without an extension), the corresponding wildcard competition is void and the regular competition continues.
c)To avoid abuse of the system, if the incumbent in the wildcard competition does not submit a piece within the allotted time (with or without an extension), they automatically lose the wildcard competition and the challenger takes their spot in the bracket.
d)If neither challenger nor incumbent submits a piece for their wildcard competition by the first deadline, the wildcard competition is void and the regular competition continues.
3.Requesting an Extension a)An extension may be requested in either the regular or wildcard competitions. An extension will last a number of days depending on the circumstances.
b)An extension request must be sent to the event coordinator (in the case of KoSRF, Hostage) via personal message (PM). A reason must be given for the extension.
Spoiler!
_b.1)Both sender and recipient must retain said personal message (PM) for proofs in case of fraudulent behavior as mentioned in rule d) of this section.
c)Should the event coordinator grant an extension, he or she will set the number of days of the extension. The extension, regardless of when it was requested, will start immediately upon the expiration of the original deadline. The extension may be designed to account for the time in between the first deadline and the request/granting of extension.
d)If the event coordinator deems the requested extension to be a waste, he or she may deny the request.
Spoiler!
_d.1)This power may only be used if the requester of said extension was deemed to be too unreliable to expect a submission within the given time. _d.2)This power shall not be in any way used to preclude anyone from competition. If it is, the infraction of this power must be reported to Ruyi immediately. This rule was created to protect the competitors from others trying to stall or waste time, not for the event coordinator to determine who competes. _d.3)Significant proof for or reason of extension denial shall be given, when requested, by the event coordinator if there is any question of fraud. __d.3.a)In the case of denial of an extension, the requester may be asked to provide evidence of denial of extension in the form of a personal message (PM) from the event coordinator.
4.In the Event of A Tie a)In the event of a tie in the voting of either a regular or wildcard competition, the two competitors may request a third independent party to critique their work and decide on a winner.
Spoiler!
_a.1)Said third independent party will need to expressly admit to not having voted previously in the exact same competition to preserve protection against bias.
b)If an independent third party can not be found, the two competitors may request another vote.
c)Both competitors must be in agreement with the terms set out in rules a) and b) of this section for either to be implemented.
NOTE:These rules open certain doors to my and Ol3n's predicament. I do not want anyone to think I am suggesting these rules based on that alone. These rules are, of course, subject to scrutiny by the community and are by no means active as of this post (10/27/2010 1:50 EST).
