Heartbreakers, life is full of 'em. This took me a while, but I finally got an output. I finished it several times but had to backtrack on a lot of layers since I didn't really like the end product and ended up with different concepts. I might make a revision of this soon if I can get another outburst of inspiration or better yet onto my next piece. *Opens Winamp and Photoshop*

Yarh, so cool. But i don't like that shadow above there (idk how to call it) but overall, a good work.
WinAmp FTW!

Lawl, yeah the R is there just blocked by the B. Anyways, the motion blur was put there to show movement. In this case, the text had just smashed onto the concrete, hence the reason for the cracks, splatters, and whatnot.
On the sidenote, I think I'll be moving onto Adobe Illustrator.

Look forward to seein some Illustrator work here and on topic, i really like the coloring of the concrete. And the red of the letters go well. Like the effects with the cracking. Very nice

O.O I might try it... yeah, for a final in one of my classes, did all the graphic work in Photoshop and did the letters there too just to be able to match up placement. Went into Illustrator and redid the placement/gradient of the letters. Looked much better. Especially cause I was printing though, might not be as big a factor for Web based work. But past text work, I still think Illustrator is amazing.

Using illustrator is like learning to photoshop again; lots of tools and things I need to learn how to use.

Wait till you try to use the pentool....like running into a brick wall but you eventually get used to moving your anchor points in one direction through out the whole. Ps pentool is like child's play in comparison.

The pen tool was a pain for me cause I didnt use it in PS. And then I loved it. But my favorite thing in Illustrator is the Gradient Mesh tool. All this coloring and lighting is done with that tool. (not mine) Not the best example there are so much more realistic looking ones, but one of the first that came up in google lol. I did a final of Ingrid Michaelson for my class, where I had to remake a picture of someone from scratch, using the pentool and shapes and then color it. Lots of time into it, but it was cool to be able to make just about anything from scratch. It is lots to learn, but man am I happy I learned Illustrator.
