I want to comment on the lighting, it's great.
But, your stuck on the 100 px lighting technique. Do some more realistic lighting stuff and it will look even better.

V2 is better. The lighting is softer and looks more natural than V1. But why don't you use light c4ds for your lighting? I use them a lot and they are pretty easy to manipulate.

I never realised you could use them for making lightning. Could you send some good ones? I gotta try it.
