I like it, the 5inch screen, Android OS. 2Gb Internal with up to 32Gb external Memory. 1ghz processor. N at ~ 15x8x1 cm. It's not that big that it becomes an iPad.
Packed with options, i think this might be something i end up Splurging on. Now i just need to find out when it comes out in Canada.

Stupid ass Dell putting their dumbass streak on the same damned carrier Iphone is already on. In fact, every company that has some really great phone with no other comparable ones, should stop locking their phone to one carrier. Maybe then they'll get a lot more sales on some of their phones.

And then laugh as their screens become so dirty and scratched that they don't even know what they're doing anymore.
Most new touch screen phones use Gorilla Glass for displays which is highly resistant to scratching, scuffing, and other wear-and-tear from normal use. I know new Apple touch products also use a lipophobic coating for smear protection.
OT: Having a large screen does not make a product a tablet, so I'm confused as to why Dell is marketing it as one. It doesn't even have 802.11n for WiFi browsing which is essential knowing that a tablet's main functionality comes from the internet and cloud-based services. I'm not saying it's absolutely necessary that it be included, but for a product touting net-based functionality it would only be logical that the latest standard be implemented. At $300 with an ATT contract and $550 without, it's on par with smartphone pricing but it doesn't look very promising as a product. I guess my issue with the device is that it's too large to be a pocketable phone but still too small to include better functionality than one. It's a good product if someone wanted a large, Android-based device that wasn't a phone, but I feel this is a poor execution of that concept.
Thats a huge device, I had the HTC HD2 and it was big, I'm am not getting this damn phone, looks shitty, especially if its gonna run 1.6. It'll take forever to get a decent froyo update. Sad to say I'd rather buy a iPad than this, and thats saying something. If Dell goes into this market, they better put the iPaQ to shame, cuz u know how good it was back in 2003 Still sticking to my mytouch slide, I might get the Mytouch HD, I like HTC, they make good android phones <3

Invisible Shield?
blah, I had so much trouble with them, I say F*** it to screen protectors, I paid for my phone I shouldn't need something added on to it *cough*iphone4*cough*
I used Windex on my glass screens, but the mytouch slide has a plastic one and its weird to use XD
