[quote="Aaron777" Yeah but how did the 1st zombie come to be? where and how did the infection begin ?
Mate...your missing the point, the story isnt about zombies its about PEOPLE, and how they react in a situation that they are not used to. This could of been a story about a terrorist attack or about an earthquake and it would still of had the same impact. Its about people...zombies are just a back setting as noted in the comic, the most dangerous encounters are with other humans, and not the undead.[/quote]
I know its about the reactions of the humans in a apocalyptic environment(and like you said before, this makes for a much more interesting story than just mindless zombie killing, as its not about the zombies), i was just clarifying what Thee_Unique was asking. This is definitely a must-watch show for me now
Spoiler!
and when the mom gets with the other cop it makes me , but it seems like the two groups are going to meet up, as the sister knows where the other group is
EPISODE 2 IS UP. WARNING ANYTHING UNDER THIS POST CONTAINS EPISODE 2 CONTENT
Spoiler!
Can't believe they left the white guy on the roof. And was the guy doing the girl anally? It would make sense to prevent pregnancy
Spoiler!
He could pull out like a man; it probably wouldn't be too sanitary since they don't have doodoo paper. And I couldn't believe that guy was about to unshackle that dude on the roof, and that they want to go back and get him. Also shit is going to go down next week when he meets up with his ex partner and wife.
If I was that black guy I wouldve gave him the saw and left. He obviously wasn't ganna cooperate later on. Also what happened to the asian kid? lol he's driving around with a beep beep beep?

I think the asian kid is just experiencing a moment of happiness in a world gone to shit. And hell I would have a hard time saying no to that dumb redneck in that situation even if he insulted me, nobody deserves to die like that just because they're racist.

i would have either given him the saw or shot him in the head tho i have a feeling he will find a way out and they will meet later on in the series.
if the racist is back on the show he will KILL the black guy! I would be shitting myself on that roof if I was there with thousands of zombies only a few feet a way.

Well, either he's gonna die after they come up the stairs and get through the locked door, or he's gonna die of starvation. Either way he's a dead man.

Well, even though they dropped the key why would they leave that red bag, or even show it. Ofc im gonna call him francis(l4d) kinda reminds me of him. Francis is just gonna grab it and saw through the chain. He won't die, they keep showing him to much.

Yeah, and his brpther is gonna be pissed when he finds out they left him hand cuffed on the roof. I thought it was weird how they showed the black guy knock over the red bag but the guy might be too far away to reach any of the tools in the bag.

I was expecting the show to stick pretty close to the comic, but there is some stuff just randomly thrown in, or the occurrence is misplaced in the time line. I'm like '~,o "that's not suppose to happen yet!"

Yeah, I don't think it's bad that they aren't completely following the comic. Kind of nice to see how things are different, kind of makes me wonder what else will be different.

Yeah, it creates new possibilities with the story, but what worries me is they could pull a resident evil and just ruin it. Kinda regretting reading the comic because now I have all these expectations of the "exact" storyline when it's gonna be the "general" storyline, with occurrences that happened down the line thrown in early. Makes me question how the story will be when--or if--it reaches that point.
Spoiler!
Things that has me going "meh" so far are: "t-dawg" WTF. Is that Tyrese?, or that a new character? If it is Tyrese, why is he chubby and clumsy when he's suppose to be an ex-football player, who's always clubbing zombies with a hammer, and joined the group AFTER they started to leave the city... Dixon? Alright new character, I can appreciate that, but why did they replace Otis' use of the n-word with this character and incident so early on? Is there even going to be an Otis in this show '~,o...

I actually don't like that they are going off from the comic. It was nice to read the comic and then watch the show. ):
This is exactly what I am thinking now. It was fine when some of the things were left out or they went in a different direction with the storyline but eventually lead to the same place. But now that I am half way through episode 5 I'm kind of mad that some of the big things that happened in the comic are not happening on the show. It was nice to see how the comic was coming to life in the show but, oh well, if the creator of the comic is also producing/directing some of the episodes, I doubt he will let us down, we just have to trust him I guess :/
Spoiler!
This "Wildfire" thing was a nice little thing that wasn't in the comic book, well at least not as far as I've gotten(I'm on #10). If they are going to stray away completely from the comic book than I might just stop reading.

Yeah it sucked that her daughter (sister?) had to die, and kinda creepy that that one guy knew he was digging graves for something.
Made me wonder how the outbreak is spread, she was hugging her bloody kid, stuff everywhere. I figured she was going to rise from the dead and become a zombie on the spot.
