I was at Sanderson Elementary in the 3rd grade. If I can remember correctly 5+ students were pulled out of class that day. I didn't find out what really happened until after school getting ready to watch some toonami, I went into my grandmothers room and it was on tv.

2,977 families beg to differ.
How about the 30k civilian families at Afghanistan that lost thier family members by America ?
Logically , i would support the 30k > 3k .
I would rather support 0 families to suffer this but i can't do anything about it .

At what law does that fit in ?
if it is that way then why not kill 300k americans , this is bullshit .
and Actually it happened the other way , America hit Afghanistan , then Afghanistan hit America at 11/9 attack , Then America hit Afghanistan again .
At least Al Qadaa only made a few hits not 15 years of constant hitting civilians .

What does this have to do with with Doron's or my comment? I was not comparing the two evils. No where did I say I support the killing of innocent civilians.

Right before going to school. 4th grade
I don't remember if I knew about it before going to school or during.. I do remember we spent the next half day watching the news and being let out early. The entire day was awkward because I lived in the city of Chicago where most of the students were either mexican or black. I was one of the 5 arabian kids that went to school. You could say I was a 'star' aside from my cousin being named Osama. He wasn't in my class, but I do wonder how he felt having that name for the week.

/unintentional thread derail, successful.
I only quoted because of the number (2.977 families) .
I don't support the innocent killing but wanted to add it to the thread as it seemed that almost nobody cares about the civilian loses at Afghanistan .

Man, this topic makes me realize how much younger most of you are than me, at the time I was a freshman or sophomore in high school... Most of you were in grade school...

Woke up for school and my mom came out in her pjs on the phone cuz my Dad(who never really called or even talked to us on a regular bases) had called and told her to turn on the TV. There is was on a big screen. Was in 4th or 5th grade at that point, but I still understood what was going on. Remember it clearly.
