Fair game so far. Lots of clear chances missed, good football, no diving, no bad fouls. I'm liking it. I think Giggs was in offside when Rooney scored, but that goal was so good that I'd allow it anytime.

I guess that's it. Barça clearly showed a better football and deserved this cup. I sorta feel sorry for Rooney as he looked like the only one who really wanted to win.
But well..the best team one.
Little sidenote: why was Sir Alex wearing the Labour Party's red rose?

the thing is, its clear barca are the better team, just that Man utd arent far behind. if only anyonei in the team actually played like they gave a damn, we might have won. same shit as 2009, -_-

I think that the midfield is where you suffered the most. I mean.. Carrick ain't worth a dime. Giggs is a left midfielder, not a central one and even though he's totally classy, he's quite old. Same applies for Scholes, although sometimes I think he's got no clue on what he's doing. Anderson..don't even get me started on him, lol. I just don't like him. A couple top notch midfielders, a new goalie (I think VdS is retiring), a winger that is better than Valencia and you're done with your supah team. That's pretty much what I did on Football Manager. XD

Agreed, Fletcher always seems to be gone during the matches where smoeone like him would be wanted -_-. I dont even see the point of carrick anymore, hes good sometimes at keeping possession, but thats hardly in the most necessary games..Tbh i think all we need is a good, non-pre pubescent midfielder, unfortunately there aren't many central mids going around and we couldnt afford them even if there was anyways.
