My current graphics card is: ATI Radeon HD 4600 Series What I was wondering was, what should I be looking at when I wanna upgrade my graphics card? I was looking at: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814129176Is that better than the current graphics card I have? Are there any other suggestions for a good graphics card under $150 by ATI? I'm trying to upgrade a bit for BF3, but not heavily.

The radeon 7xxx series should be coming out rather shortly, I would wait for that tbh. If you can't wait refer to this: http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/gam ... ,3018.html( If I was you I would focus on performance for 1680x1050 res, 12xx as well )

If you keep an eye on slickdeals, the 6950 regularly goes on sale for near $150.. maybe a little more, but usually with bundled games that you can easily resell on ebay in a day to recoup a good chunk. That would be your best bet or like love said wait until the new launch for price drops. I'm not a fan of the wait game though... there is always new tech on the horizon.

I wouldn't go for the one you've selected, EvGa's suggestion is far better... though I'd much rather go for NVIDIA.
In any case, if you don't mind the waiting, just hang in and wait for them prices to drop.

The GTX 550 Ti or Fermis such as the 460 and such are also in its price and performance range. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.a ... 6814161384Currently I'm running a GTX 460 which is on par with a 6850 and I'm getting 60-90 FPS in the BF3 beta on low. I'm using low since I don't see any big difference between ultra and it at the moment.

Indeed, I hated my previous NVIDIA card because the latest driver they had was corrupt and stopped the card from working entirely. Had to install pretty old drivers to make it work. At the moment i'm running an HD 5770 (Saphire vapor-x), it runs any game fine on max graphics so far, but i've got a 19" screen so.

yah for just about $40 more you get a huge performance boost, just be careful you'll need at least 500 watt psu with two 6pin pcie connnectors
