I got a feeling that that lady would faint in the middle of the "show".

I lol'ed. That doesn't look like real concrete. Still some pretty crazy feats.
Well it isn't real or at-least not as "hard" as the real, Look at 6:01 and concentrate on the holes in it
Interesting show though.

Thats what I call talent
I sure hope that was sarcasm, lol. This had nothing to do with talent at all... Just sad what people will do for money.
Anyway, I like how at the end that lady was clapping only because it was over
This is talent. Most can't do that.
I liked the facial impressions of that lady. Must have been horrifying for her.
Is talent everything most people can't do?
Anyway, what I meant was, that is not something you should encourage others to do. From my point of view, this is not some talent they've become good at, they simply just take the pain and tries to survive it. I'm not impressed to be honest - not at all.

How can you place a block of concrete on your head and have someone bash it with a hammer without cracking your skull?

They was really crazy but not as real as they would like us to believe, if anyone is actually hit full force with a sledge hammer you are looking at broken bones, no way around it.

Not really. I actually used to know a guy who did that when he was younger, like legit. Not entirely sure how it worked, but yeah.

Because it is a show! Yes, a show! It's not like they actually bash with full power on the skull. And how can you know what the block is actually made of? And even if it was a block of concrete, it's not like they have any talent. They have just simply learned to withstand extreme pain. That's not what I would call a talent. Just my opinion, though

Being able to withstand extreme pain isn't 'simple'. You are either born with a high pain limit or a low one. If you have a high pain limit, you can also learn how to deal with extreme pain, it's all about the state of mind. So it actually is some kind of gift. IMO
Feel free to discuss.

Looked like he hit quite hard. It doesn't take much force to cause a skull fracture. Though it varies a lot on different people and depends on many factors. Yes, those blocks could be made of a material that absorbs a lot of force, but when one guy hit the other in the chest with a hammer, there wasn't much to absorb the blow. These ppl must have very strong, elastic, thick bones.

I do not think I ever said it was simple. For me, the opposite of talent is not something simple. For example, I would not call the ability to jump from extreme high places without breaking any bones a talent either. Even though that is definitely not simple.
But as I mentioned, this is merely my opinion.
And yeah, omier44, they sure must have some elastic bones, haha
