http://www.nbcolympics.com/video/fencin ... versy.htmlWtf is this shit. There is no way 1 second hasn't passed, and the timer even turned 0. F ucking blind judges. This pisses me off, not only because I'm South Korean, but she even waited for over an hour only to receive a "consolation" medal which is a way of the judges saying "Sorry, we screwed up, but you can get a loser's medal!"

That's fvcking sad... I felt so sorry for the korean lady, specially when she started to cry. I could honestly feel her hard work through her tears... What a bullshit :/

I didnt get it at all at first (dont watch fencing), but i guessing that the GER had ~1sec to score, and the clock went down to 0, but then somehow 1sec was added back to the clock and the korean lost?
Interesting i havent heard about this other than on this forum, even though if you think about it its an amazing fuckup.

Yea, that and the timer thing got messed up. 3 jabs in less than a second? No way.

Damn, that's fcked up. Men's epee was interesting, none of the top 10 fencers got to the final. Our fencer ranked 1st, but lost the first match.

Is it bad that I feel like we should be winning gold in every single event?

It should. I mean, we are the best country in the entire world, so it'd only be logical to assume we have the best athletes in every sport.
