Just bought an el'cheapo telescope for starters and to hold me off until I get a big upgrade.
I want to achieve a 350x magnification but currently it's a 35x magnification, child's play I know.

The telescope itself is 700mm focal length, and the eyepiece is 20mm focal length. I was wondering if I got an eyepiece with a 2mm focal length would it actually work? I used a quick calculator and it says it will bump it to 350x but I want to know if it will really work.
