Just imagine a civilization out there that could travel between stars quickly, taking 1 hour. In our galaxy alone traveling to each star in 1 hour a piece would take 34 million years to go to them all.
I'm pretty sure that there will never be a spaceship that could travel between stars in just 1 hour. In order to accelerate to the speed of light, a particle with mass (also called rest mass) needs an infinite energy.
I know, was just an example to help understand how big stuff is.
