Hey guys!
It's been a while since i've watched a good anime, looking for advice.
Last stuff i watched:
Attack on Titan (s1) Sword Art Online (s1) HunterxHunter - didn't finish cause someone is dying but then 1hitwonderwinsdatshiet Fairy Tail - didn't finish cause the same disappointing stuff above : /
Mostly i'm a die hard Death Note, Bleach(Arrancar time) and Naruto fan, i like good fights and nice dialogs even though i'm kinda weird since i love stuff like Afro Samurai but then also enjoy stuff like Mirai Niki (? can't remember its name but it's a weird ass anime but i LOVED it lol).
Last animes that got my hyped but really turned me down were Fairty tail and HunterxHunter.. man, what kind of fights are those : /, the environment was kinda cool tho
So yeah, lookin' for some of that inspiring stuff to keep the dream alive haha
Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann's great for amazing Action (as are most Studio Trigger shows for that matter).
Rakudai Kishi no Cavalry A bit of a weird suggestion maybe, but it was quite enjoyable from an action perspective. Story wasn't too good, but with brain to zero, it probably had some of the best choreographed fighting scenes I've seen in years...
One Punch Man - Overpowered main + comedy + infinite Budget Mob Psycho 100 - One Punch Man with an actual story.
Hitsugi no Chaika - A fairly generic show, that against all expectation did a lot of things just right. If it's ending wasn't a bit rushed it would probably be a 9/10 in my opinion.

"Boku no Hero Academia" sound like what you're describing.
Other ones that aren't on your list but that are worth the watch:
"Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood". "Re:Zero" was amazing IMO. The "Hellsing" series is awesome. I really enjoy the "Berserk" series. "Psycho Pass" somewhat reminds me of the Death Note atmosphere. Really like "Bongou Stray Dogs". "Tokyo Ghoul" is the last one I can think of off the top of my head.
Watched too much anime, it's starting to get hard to remember what I've watched at this point.

Not a big fan of robot stuff, i mostly fancy swords and samurais, you think Tengen is still a choice for me?
I have a real problem with overpowered mains, not sure One Punch man or Mob Psycho is for me >.<''
What did you enjoy on Birdy?
And it sounds like i should give Hitsugi a try, any place recommended to watch anime nowadays? I used to watch anime back in the animecrazy.net days lel

Mate, Boku no Hero sounds really good : o, where have you watched it?
All those sound like solid recommendations for my taste, not sure about Psycho Pass nor Bongou Stray Dogs but i have heard awsome stuff about the other ones.
I never watched too much anime because i find it hard to get hooked into one, as i'm not too much of a fan of kawai or girly stuff, despize hentai, and loli stuff too.
I mean I watch stuff all the time. Have a spreadsheet of all the stuff I've watched (or tried to watch) and at this point I think there are like 200-ish anime series on there.

thanks mate.. but 200ish animes? DAMN = D
And it seems like Boku No Hero Academia has a lot of recommendations, might start with that one : o

TTGL is always a fantastic option. It's not about the mechs in this show. It's the characters and drama around it. Even if you don't like mechs it's an amazing show. I'll post a clip but really, the show is best watched with a little as possible information, and no single clip is actually representative for what any of the other episode will be like. It's a Rollercoaster all the way. If you watch this, just don't think too hard about anything and let the surge of pure testosterone take over you.
Here's a random little clip of a minor fight
As amazingly stupid as it is, this clip is a really good summary of the entire show:
OP-man and Mob Psycho are both aware of the fact that overpowered mains are boring as shit. They're comedies first with really high-quality action. I can't guarantee they'll be up your alley, but I can tell you I hate Fairy Tail with a passion and am not exactly a big fan of HxH either, but both OP-man and Mob Psycho were totally great shows that shared none of their problems imo.
Here's super minor fight demo for OP-man:
And mob psycho:
Birdy... it's been a long time and I don't remember too well. I rarely remember details about the shows I watch at all (which is really nice, because I can rewatch stuff and enjoy it almost like new every time ). Birdy iirc just had a really nice art-style and some really well-animated fights. The story was serious-ish and somewhat dramatic as well, and it had an interesting gimmick where the main male character shared a body the female main character. It wasn't a super amazing show, but the highs stuck with me enough to remember it as a good show and a the lows weren't had enough that anything particular comes to mind at all.
edit: note that there's a very old version as well (80's-90's?), but I'm talking about the more recent version. I can't really say anything about the old version.
If it's anything to go by here's a random combat scene that I don't even remember. It's not perfect, but it certainly has good choreography and dynamic movements. And I don't remember this being a super major fight or anything...
Also this OP is great
Hitsugi no Chaika is a show that I see as really good filler. The kind of show you just binge watch on a whim while you wait for the next 10/10 whale. The main character is actually relatively weak, possessing more or less only the power of some enhanced focus at the cost of stamina. Fights tend to be a more tactical/cerebral, and may not necessarily be the exact type of shonen you're looking for.
I think this is a good example of what the average battle will look like:
And since I've done all the others, he's a demo for Rakudai Kishi no Calvalry. Unlike the other shows most of the time the animation isn't really all that great. It's a show that's more interesting due to the build-up stuff. But it also definitely has its great moments where the fights are truly epic, but I'd rather not spoil those, lest the effect dimishes... So here's just one of the first fights...
As for where to watch the shows... Some you can just watch on Crunchyroll legally and for free. But I just download all my shit. Usually off horriblesubs. Nyaa.se got disbanded, but a bunch of clones appeared, so now it's nyaa.si. Also stuff like coalgirls is good...
lulz, writing this post made me hype as **** D:

Get into reading light novels. Start with Coiling Dragon.
