-go to the store's website
-order the item you want at the price you get in store
-ship to store or your house
-don't get trampled

you cant get the sales price in any of these scenerios. from 5 am until about 11 am youll find things at rediculous prices. you cant comment on black friday without proper knowledge of it.

laptop with 180$ **** YEA... worked 18 hours in my store that day straight...... was dead after work >.>

Please, do comment on how I got the monitor I wanted at Best Buy without going to the store for the SAME price as in store. It may not apply all the time, but it seems to have worked for me. Black Friday is changing slightly at least for some stores.

Ditto for several things that day I didn't need to leave the house.

Proof that going to black friday sales at none-24/7 stores and trying to be first in is retarded as fck, that's how people get trampled.

You got "on sale" price, you didn't get black Friday price. Like boxing day, they don't put them online. That's how they draw more people to their stores, and offer the best deals on what they have in stock.

look.. if they put something online its 1% of what they have in the store... there are better sales in the store always.. but i think some stores do put them online.. but still its not like the store.. cell is that you from 0:58 ~ 1:07

where sale price = Black Friday price referenced in their ad. "limited availability in store". You could be right, but I did get their Black Friday price.

I don't mean to be a dick here, but the words used in my original post definitely implied something that happened in the past. That day would have been Friday. I ordered it on Friday morning, not today.

I'm aware of how Black Friday is supposed to work, my experience differs than yours and of course my own previous years' experience. Perhaps that's indicative of a change in business model for only that store. I don't know, I am not a marketing or sales expert.

you are infact being a dick. as anytime prior to your post was "the past." and seeing as im not as psychic as my wife would like me to be, and this is a forum where words alone are used to express things, perhaps you should harness this magical ability and ensure proper communication is used to avoid confusion.
also. your singular purchase doesnt do justice to the deals available in store. but im sure you knew that despite your efforts to construct a viewpoint based upon an isolated incident.

that day = not THIS day aka Monday

Black Friday isn't a game, if you aren't prepared just dont show up. Black Friday is meant to separate those who deserve from those who don't, is like evolution, only that is hosted by Wal Mart ...

Did not participate in this shit. I see no point in standing outside the store for hours, waiting in line with a crapload of people, and hoping they still have the stuff you wanna buy in stock... all to save a couple of bucks. At least in my case, they only brought down the prices by $5-$50 per item.

I saved a little over 300 bucks on a new TV which wasn't bad. Had a friend that worked at the store just give me the tag when I walked in and didn't have to even be in the store more than 10 minutes. First time I even thought about going. I think it had to do with it being at like 4-5 in the morning this year and I was up anyways.
