Futball!!!!!!!! It's actually a great game, especially every 4 years because of the world cup. The only country that doesn't think is great has to be America.

Soccer is a game of Gentlemen played by hooligans. Rugby is a game of hooligans played by gentlemen. Fair with me.

According to your 14 year old friend you met on youtube? I've never heard anyone that has any clue about international politics call them freedom fries. I've only heard 14-15 year old rebels, the tough kind, call them that.

As a born Sicilian, I should love soccer being it's the #1 sport in italy. But I fu.cking hate it.
Lacrosse is where it's at.

right...so where were you when mcdonals and burger king decide to unoffically changet he name? And as for international politics i dont really think anyone cares now what America says or does...do to the whole iraq issuse they have lost not only a lot of support but also a lot of credibility.
Ironic how America emplyed a policy of isolating themsevels from the world in terms of industrial and cultrual stance not caring what was going on...and now due to their ability to become involved in any thing and everything, even if it has nothing to do with them, makes a lot of people wish they go back to their old 19th century policy

Good thing there's someone to call us out about it on a video game forum. Way to take a stance and make a change. Alienation and irritation are clearly the keys to making people see your point of view.
As for where was he when they "unoffically changet" the name of French Fries to Freedom Fries, he was nowhere. They're potatoes dipped in hot grease, who cares what they're called? I'm a rather frequent patron of fast food establishments, and I never once heard anyone order "Freedom Fries" anyway. Despite what a small minority of morons seem to think, McDonald's and Burger King don't run the country.
You talk about America and the way we treat the world so freely, do you even know what the approval rating of the Iraq War within our country is? Most of America hates it, direct your loosely-informed frustration at the 34% of the country that agrees with it, and leave the 66% that don't out.
We can't win as far as wars go with the rest of the world. We had an isolationist platform following WW1 (not the 19th century in my opinion, considering the Monroe Doctrine and the occupation of the Philippines in the Spanish-American war), and we get whined at about jumping in too late to WW2. Now that we're involved in things early, we're yelled at for that. There isn't a safe middle ground with international affairs.
It's not your point of view that's so irritating, you're perfectly within your right to dislike America. It's the way you present it in a fashion of "YOU STUPID AMERICANS, WHY CAN'T YOU DO ANYTHING RIGHT?! ALL PROBLEMS OF THE WORLD ARE BECAUSE OF YOU AND YOUR RENAMING OF POTATOES!"
