Draw, not bad, wanted us to win but oh well =). altidore shoulda had that tho, but we still played great!

So the first 3 games of the World Cup are tie?

Mexico - SA tied
France - Uruguay tied
USA - England tied

Argentina - Nigeria, argie won
south korea - greece, korea won.

funny how the english were laughing at france for drawing against uruguay, while they draw against usa (i'd say usa is a little better than uru) and consider themselves 3rd favorites...

England was pretty fail, but US wasn't that convincing either.
But I guess history repeats, despite their often good roster England never gets anywhere in a world cup.

and those Vevuzulas can't be called real instruments to make noise with.

you need those cans with a horn on it to make noise, not just a plastic shaft made for 10 cents by Papua New-Guinean children in which you have to make the noise yourself and 75% of the people who own a thing like that don't even know how to make noise with.

Lol,

No, the Vevuzulas really are what make that noise, i think it was during the Mexico game, that the Commentator said a single Horn has the same decibel range as a Chain Saw. IT's not an air horn.

However, nice try with Papa New-Guinea.

the things are getting banned in germany,
the reason they were allowed in south africa sounds kind of ok,
Quote:
FIFA President Sepp Blatter refused to ban the Vuvezela’s from the competition, due to keeping some authenticity of the culture intact

the vuvezelas however, don't
Quote:
Technically the fans attending these matches would need to wear protective ear-wear to reduce the risk of leaving a game with their hearing having suffered damage. In a test, it was discovered that fans from a 30,000 stadium full of trumpeting, were leaving with reduced hearing capacity. Imagine how the people leaving the 95,000 capacity Soccer City in the World Cup opener must have felt?

this is what most people think
Quote:
Where are the chants from the “terraces?” Where are the drums and the Samba beats? Where are the brass bands? Where are the cheer-fueled Mexican waves? Where is the singing? Even the National Anthems have fallen foul of this buzzing beast.

Samba >>>>> vuvuzela
