It's funny seeing people (cough especially women) posting things on facebook about last nights match while they don't even know shit about it :D Apparantly Iniesta was offside, while he clearly wasn't :)

Once again, Iniesta wasnt offside thats correct. But the guy who passed the ball, to the guy who passed the ball to iniesta, that pass was offside. Try to catch that sentence, pretty hard. lol

The pass from the guy at the bottom towards the guy that later scored, yes it got intercepted but it was still offside ;) Oh well whats done is done ^^ kinda useless to argue about it cuz it won't change a thing.

@Ofy yes, that was clear offside although the ball didn't get it to the Spanish player.
LUCK+DIVING+Howard Web = Spain world cup champion.
I'm sick of those hilarious refs who destroy football and fairplay.

Indeed. The final wasn't the only match that was ruined by the ref

I googled Webb to find 'news' about him, and it looks like a lot of people think he did a good job "considering the circumstances". Just because the Netherlands was fouling like **** you're allowed to make mistakes?

Maybe it's my Dutch goggles, but I thought he did poorly.

And I googled around, and I found hate coming from Spain.

He also was ref at the champions league final though o.o So he gotta be doing something right. I do agree he was a bit too easy with giving cards at the start and in the end he kept giving Dutch players cards and let the Spanish guys go free meh

I hope you guys also know that Robben deserved a yellow card when he kicked the ball away which would of earned him a red card when they were down 1 player but still 0-0.

I don't know why that would be a foul anyway :/

It's useless to keep going after they flag offside, so player deliberately going on after the call are just prolonging the game/doing useless stuff. You can get yellow for it. When I saw Robben going on I screamed: "STOP YOU ******, STOP, WTF ARE YOU DOING, YOU CAN SCORE NOW BUT NOT 1V1???"
Apparently I looked like a retard.

yeah i thought not calling the corner was pathetic

but its stupid that the Dutch players/manager are crying about the 9 yellow cards when they were playing so physical. i thought Webb went easy on them w/ the cards.

The karate kick was over the top indeed. But keep in mind that he most likely wanted to hit the ball, was in mid-air already and then the Spaniard came to the ball.

For all the dutchies
Spoiler!

There were many more situations that could've ended with a card or a penalty or a corner kick. The ref is still a human, if only fifa used replays to judge.

Something like hawkeye in tennis should be implemented in football ASAP. At least @ big championships like euro cup and world cup.

There should have been 2 more red cards in the game. De Jong should have gotten one for the front kick to the sternum and Puyol should have gotten a second yellow for grabbing Robben on his second break away.

As a dutch dude myself, i have to say that we got too cocky. Spain was the better team, and they deserved to win.
