You are on a game show and there are three doors. The presenter tells you that behind one of doors there is a car and behind the other two are goats, if you pick the car you win it. After you have picked a door the presenter opens a different door he knows has a goat, he then gives you the chance to change what door you open, do you care?
If he admits after you make your choice that he actually had no idea what door has the car and he just opened a random door in hopes of seeing a goat (and he did), he gives you a choice to reverse your last decision (if you didn't switch you can switch, if you switched you can switch back) do you care now?

Spoiler!
Switching gives you a better chance of winning the car, because your original odds were 1:3, and now your odds are 1:2.

I haven't heard this part of the problem before.. I think his confession shouldn't matter. If you didn't switch, you should still reverse your decision based on the rationale above. If you did switch, then I guess you should stick with the same door?
Thanks for reminding me that I still need to take a STAT class.

Solutions
Spoiler!
1. Correct; Solution: Imagine you pick the first door, possible doors are: CGG, GCG, GGC and in situations 2 and 3 he would open doors 3 and 2 respectively. Only in the first case do you win the car by staying (1/3), the second and third case you win by switching (2/3)
2. Switching/staying doesn't matter; Solution: His confession matters, it makes it so each door has a 1/2 chance to contain the car and you don't really care, stick/change, same chance. Imagine the same as above, you pick door 1 and the situations are still: CGC, GCG, and GGC. If he opens door 2 by chance, then that eliminates the entire second situation. (i.e. you can now eliminate GCG as a possibility, the car is either in door 1 or 3, whereas in the first case he is not physically allowed to open door 2 in situation 2)
Leave you guys with these two: A man approaches you in a dark alley. He says, "If you tell a lie, I will kill you with a knife. If you tell the truth, I will kill you with a gun." What do you say to stay alive?
There are 100 hunters with 100 dogs in a village. Every hunter can only see other people's dogs. One day, a visitor to the village told the hunters that there are dogs in the village with rabies and must be put down. Every night the hunters would stand in a circle and stare at each other's dogs without seeing his own. They did this for three nights; on the fourth night, all the dogs with rabies were killed. How many dogs had rabies and how did a hunter determine whether or not his dog had rabies?

I have two riddles to add. Not too hard, but I thought I'd share them none the less.
1. It is better than the best of things and worse than the worst of things. You love it more than life. You fear it more than death. The rich have need of it, the poor have it in endless supply.
2. I am free for the taking through all of your life, though given but once at birth. I am less than nothing in weight, but will fell the strongest of you if held.

Breath?
I have one riddle. Lighter than what I am made of, more of me is hidden beneath, I am the bane of the mariner, a tooth in the endless blue. Speak my name.

"Pure eyes, blue like a glassy bead--- You are always looking at me and I am always looking at you.
Ah, you're too meek --- beautiful, unspoiled: thus I'm so sad, I suffer--- and so happy, it hurts.
I want to hurt you and destroy myself What you would think if you knew how I felt.
Would you simply smile, not saying a word? Even curses from your mouth would be as beautiful as pearls.
I place my left hand on your face as though we were to kiss. Then I suddenly shove my thumb deep into your eyesocket. Abruptly, decisively, like drilling a hole.
And what would it feel like? Like jelly? Trembling with ecstasy, I obscenely mix it around and around: I must taste the warmth of your blood.
How would you scream? Would you shriek "It hurts! It hurts!" as cinnabar-red tears stream from your crushed eye?
You can't know the maddening hunger I've felt in the midst of our kisses, so many of them I've lost count.
As though drinking in your cries, I bring my hopes to fruition: biting your tongue, shredding it, biting at your lips as if tasting your lipstick.
Oh, what euphoric heights I would reach, having my desires fulfilled like a greedy, gluttonous cur.
I longed, too, for your cherry-tinted cheeks, tasty enough to bewitch my tongue. I would surely be healed, and would cry like a child.
And how is your tender ear? It brushes against my cheek; I want it to creep up to my lips so I can sink my teeth into its flesh.
Your left ear, always hearing words whispered sweet as pie --- I want it to hear my true feelings. I never lied, no... but I did have my secrets.
Ah, but what must you think of me? Do you hate me? Are you afraid? As though inviting you to the agony at the play's end; if you wish, you could destroy me --- I wouldn't care.
As you wish, you may destroy me --- I wouldn't care."
Use this keypad, please enter the correct number using that riddle.
[1] [2] [3]
[4] [5] [6]
[7] [8] [9]

Plants emit O2, CO2 is their terminal electron acceptor. Unless by oxygen you mean anything with an O in it, not just O2.
Yes and no.
Plants turn Carbon dioxide and water with the energy of the sun into a sugar and oxygen. But that's only half the deal.
To get energy to maintain processes they need to do the reverse and "burn" the sugar and convert it back to carbon dioxide much like humans.
But when it's light the formation of oxygen has a larger share so it seems that plants don't use any oxygen, but during the dark when a large part of the photosynthesis cycle isn't working, the plant must still burn sugar in order to stay alive and then it becomes apparent that plants use oxygen as their own supply is not working.

Correct, breath is the answer.
The answer to your riddle, btw, is ice. Ice is lighter than water if an equal volume of both is weighed. A lot of ice is hidden beneath the surface of what we can see, as well. Ice bergs ship sinks and are a solid object in a sea of water.
