The thing about cloning that's so difficult and results in dying clones is that they're cloning starting from old and inserting it into new. As you age, your DNA changes. The biggest problems is there are still parts of the DNA that can't be fixed. Hence, a lot of clones experience problems they normally would have later in life, or even accelerated aging.

Maybe not.. First, you have to find a donor, and second, there's no guarantee that your body will accept the new organ.
If you though about cloned body parts, in case you need a new heart?.. lulz

You're talking about the current system of transplanting an organ. Cloning (coupled with stem cell medicine) would create an organ from scratch. It could be grown in a lab and would be just like your current organs. The whole point of cloning and stem cell medicine is to take out the 'donor' variable so that there is no wait for transplanting organs.

Don't get me wrong, it's expensive and fraught with controversy, but imagine needing an organ immediately and it's there waiting for you at the hospital.

imagine growing eyeballs and nerve cells for people without them using stem cells. stem cells --------> holy grail of medical curing, people are stupid for opposing it.

The reason why people oppose stem cell research is because of they are stupid. Did you know when x-rays were first developed to be used to take pictures of people's bones, all these people freaked out? well guess what today x-rays are common as your doctor's stethoscope. The people crying about stem cell research are the ones who cannot see farther than 5 years into the future and are the ones who too dumb to understand the fact that new technology is never perfect from day 1.
