I live about 3 miles from my school, as well. I've been walking home a lot more lately because I just can't be bothered getting on an annoying bus. The walks take me like 1h30m, but it gives me lots of time to think. I get home tired as fork, but I walking.

My work is 40km's each way, so there's no way in hell I'd be walking that. I do, however, go running a lot after work. I'll stretch, warm up for 10 minutes then run around 8-12kms, more when I'm feeling really fit. Feels quite good and insanely relaxing while listening to my ipod

7-10 min walk from my house to where I work, pointless getting work any other way.

I do enough thinking as it is, though. Sometimes I need a bit of an escape from my mind >.<

If anything, it's the other way around. I work in a very.. 'rough' workplace. The magority of people who work there have part time jobs as pig/deer hunters. I know half of them carry around rifles in the back of their cars, I'd be shot down in seconds -.-
