First off its a big thing as this could become our new king and queen, sure not everyone cares about it will cost us tax payers money ~20million but with this been a major event for tourism and merchandise it will help our economy, the royal family are essentially what makes britain so unique and its kind of like how even if your president is shit, wasting money and really does **** all you stand by him, we stand by our royalty even if its only in a loose sense, they have no real power of how the country is run but they are stil what makes us british. atleast imo also i didnt watch the wedding im not that fussed about it but i am happy for them
How does having a royal family make them unique? netherlands, spain, belgian, japan, etc all have royal families, its not like it really matters lol.
The wife though, is indeed hawt

yeh and they are known for it, but with the uk royalty its known all over the world, has ties to so many countrys including america. they do have some power just not much nothing worth while, they bring in huge amounts of money via tourism which sadly when we talk about how much they cost us the money they bring in is always over looked, they are very good for diplomatic reasons aswell the queen hosts a number of diplomatic dinners which can ease tension for upcoming talks
