Can you explain the disorder and how it affects you?

You don't get diagnosed with Asperger's syndrome "at some part of [your] life," you learn to live with it. As far as I know, OCD "tendencies" that kids usually refer to are completely different from the actual disorder. For something to be considered OCD, it has to be severely pervasive and greatly affects a person's life; preventing an OCD person from completing their ritual would boost their anxiety to the point that they start to have tunnel vision. I would look up the DSM before throwing all these terms out.

Bipolar disorder is a tough one to have, especially when on manic phase. Self-destructive behavior and even death from exhaustion may occur to some.

Wrong diagnose perhaps?

Asperger is in the Autism spectrum.....

I've also seen what OCD does to a person, and waking up at 3/4am, just to turn the lights off. Because it is just turning daylight.

Asperger is in the Autism spectrum that is true. just because you have aspergers doesnt make you autistic though. There are some people who have aspergers but can live a normal life without the drawbacks of classic autism traits.

by OCD tendencies i dont mean sometimes im ocd sometimes im not. i have rituals and certain paths and sequences i follow but its not as easy to put down to having or not having OCD. I dont feel i have OCD but doctors and family do think i have OCD, i dont understand exactly what is so obsessive about certain things i do but they obviously do.

some of my more common problems is having to follow marks or contours in paths and roads. If i see a drain cover i must go around it to the left but when i am on my way back i must go to the right of the drain to prevent me making a circle around the drain. if i rotate clockwise i must at some point rotate anti-clockwise or i feel as if i am twisted. i love to "rock" back and forth excessivly... just makes me feel correct.

in the UK you must be formally diagnosed with aspergers, it gets confusing but because of our free health care and medication system i must have a diagnoses. because doctors are undecided i have been diagnosed and removed from the database as being in the autistic spectrum.

i find depression and anxiety by far the hardest to cope with. being "that emo kid" is not exactly the best thing id like to admit to an internet forum. not only is this stuff quite personal to me but its also a very serious issue for others around me in my life too and i wouldnt like them to feel hurt by people just laughing at the issues that autistic people have. im not saying anyone in this forum specifically is like that but this is the internet.

some more long term sro friends will already know about my depression and self harming but i would like people to respect how i feel and not send me messages or emails saying hurtful things.

Interesting, so you are not completely an autistic person, but still have some weak symptoms of it?
It's curious cause, everything you said has a reason, like you do know what you are doing (like explaining it to us) and I thought every Autistic person can't really think in a rational way.
Is that Asperger we are talking about?

its a wrong assumption that autistic people are always mentally retarded people. i think a video was posted not long ago of a girl who couldnt speak but she typed on the computer to express feelings and things and she is actually a bright girl.
i do the things i do but i have no control over it, counciling sessions try to make you see reasons of why you do certain things to help you understand yourself more but that doesnt mean i can stop doing those things.
there is another type of autism which is basically an uncatalogued version of autism which doctors like to classify my condition as but its closely related to aspergers.
