in the uk, if tattoos are showing your chances of securing a job are lowered. ESPECIALLY in retail... unless you are in a alternative clothing shop.
If anyone asked me if they should get a tattoo i would always say that is must be in an area that you can easily cover up for an interview and your job.

(my mum works in retail)

I've worked in retail most of my working life (working in care now) and I've seen lots of people, colleagues, random shop assistance with tattoos. Just because someone has tattoos, it doesn't make them a bad person, any less qualified then anyone, it just means, they're different, not scared to express themselves!

I am a quiet person, I have two bunnies that mean the world to me, I work in care with adults with learning disability, I dont smoke, drink or take drugs and I am vegan, just because I have tattoos, and have multi coloured hair, does not instantly make me a bad person, I just like to express myself in different ways!

I think they have the right to hire who ever they want lol. Even If they reject someone cause the tats they won't say it they will just say he/she doesn't qualify for the job (my company and a lot of other ones do that). But I def agree with you and I actually think a lot of tated people are talaned and unique!! Just another question why did you choose Anubis I'm originally from Egypt so I'm usually curious when I see people getting those tats.

Anubis is the god of the dead and embalming, I'm not scared of death, and I've sat and watch two people die, with the job I do. When I die, I want to be mummified, just like the ancient egyptian's would of done it.

Is this even possible nowadays?

Some English guy has recently done it, but I've thought about this ages ago. But why couldn't it be done?

Eh?... So "human mummification" isn't illegal?

Why would it be? When you're dead, you're dead!

The current costs for Mummification services are $67,000 within the continental United States. You also have the option of choosing an artistic Mummiform, or a capsule Mummiform along with a full couch burial casket. Artistic Mummiforms vary widely in cost, from tens of thousands of dollars to well over a hundred thousand dollars depending on how elaborate it is. an alternative, you may select a capsule Mummiform that is placed inside a full couch 48oz. bronze or full couch stainless steel burial casket. Your local funeral home can inform you of current costs for such a casket."

Mummification on the other hand requires removing all the internal organs & putting them in their own jars, then drying the body. The process took months. You'd probably have to pay a mortitian a LOT more for that amount of time.

i dont think having a tattoo is the problem... its having a tattoo that u cant cover up thats the problem. if a company doesnt want you portraying that image they dont have to hire you and i know the stores ive named have told my mum not to hire people who have many tattoos or piercings that cant be hidden
