Right now I have 7 Lv80s in GW2 and planning to make my 8th one next month. After that, I guess it's time for me to create my legendary. If I combined the amount of gold I've spent on all 7 toons, I'd probably have enough to get 2 legendary weapons already. How's guild wars 2 these days? I played few months after release but I got boored really fast. Its kinda booring to be able to get caped and max gear in 15 days... Same for me Bought it when it got released and few months later, just quit Played a lot of World vs World; but when ur World is full of retards & u end op last place every time... it's just depressing Wait. They're the retards but you ended up in last place? I realized I also played Rift pretty seriously for a bit. It took a huge amount of grind to get even to the point of starting raiding, then got even more of a grind to min/max correctly. Raiding was fun though for what I did of it. Reminded me a lot of WoW raiding and that was the best part.

Guild Wars 2 is about the only mmorpg that didn't highlighted my terrible playing style. I got 2 characters to level cap in under a month. It was (and still is) a great game. It breaks down conventional barriers in mmo's...truly an open world..
Lots of exploration and fun things to do outside of quests...Lots of boss fights.. I loved it's underwater exploring...Diving to deep depths in search of things and fighting off monsters... I might start playing it again if I can find a good clan with which I share the same time zone...

Well, when it's world vs world vs world There isn't an individual ranking... 75% of the people just running around like idiots, u can't set up an organised assault that way we had 2 big guilds that knew what to do & we and some other smaller guilds followed them -> often succesful; but when it hits primetime (8pm) u can't win against 2 others "worlds" with only 25% of the people ...

I've geared up my Thief to the teeth but I got tired of playing him. Plus I derped and salvaged my CoF gloves lmfao. Tried leveling an Ele but it's stuck at 24 as I can't be bothered with the tedious storyline (seriously GW1 story was intriguing, not this shit). Any tricks on leveling fast? Or did you actually go through the storyline with all your chars? I'm on Blackgate too btw, we should kill stuff and shit sometime

As you stated the guilds that make up your world can really make the difference. At the end of the day anyone can be a Commander (100g), just gotta known which one are worth listening to

inky wrote: I've only done storylines until 50 (Claw Island) on most of my toons. Only 2 of them finished the lvl80 story. I don't use storyline as my main way of leveling. I often just go around doing hearts and open world events. From lvl30~50, I head over to north Hirathi for the centaur meta quest. Crafting is also another option -- about 4G for cooking and would give you 8 levels.
As for WvW, Blackgate is the champion of T1 so I can't say we've had problems with winning. I usually go around roaming for the hell of it since I grew tired of zergs. Yeah think I'll just go event hunting on my Elementalist atfer 50. I remember that centaur meta event, I hate centaurs so I get a certain satisfaction from killing hordes of them

inky wrote: Also, get the weapons with the most AOE. Get as much power as you can on your armors, weapons and trinkets. For example, I use different runes with +Power as their (1) stat on all 6 armor pieces and Sigil of Bloodlust on my main weapon. You can also use food consumables to boost it. "Rice in Bulk" from the Chef NPC is a cheap way to start even at Lv. 1 to get +20 on your power. Sigil of Bloodlust is overpriced though
