so i understand that donovan mcnabb hasn't been playing like a pro bowler, or even decent really, but.. rex grossman? REX GROSSMAN? i'm surprised that guy still even has a job in the nfl.
that pretty much guarantees mcnabb isn't going to be back with the redskins next year. wonder where he'll end up.. vikings, niners, cardinals, panthers come to mind.

If Vikings are smart, they'll get a young qb and develop him... but considering how they are always a "superbowl now" team, that's not too likely.

I couldn't make it to the draft, so it auto-drafted for me. Guess who was my QB? Yep. Good ole' Rexy. I was pissed. Luckily though, the last draft pick it made was a guy named Derek Anderson. Who happened to have a top 5 fantasy QB season. Saved me ass. Shame he sucks now though. Ha.

All of it might be moot though, considering the potential lockout next season.

Me too. I'd rather have 16 game season and no lockout, than 18 and lockout next season...

the fact that people like dan marino are going to have their records broken and eventually forgotten to an extent as time moves forward when they go to an 18 game season makes me pretty sad panda.

They would probably distinguish between 16 and 18 game seasons when showing records. They do that sometimes now, only with the NFL merger. (AFL and NFL I think)

I think I'm going to cry, no Rodgers vs. Patriots, and Bears probably have an easy game against Webb. Good bye playoffs.

17-7, Packers lead with 2 minutes left in half, don't know if I should get my hopes up or not.

Pats won 31-27. Packers had a chance to drive down the field at the end. I didn't watch it till the tail end of it, but that's a pretty decent first start for a rookie GB QB.

flynn looked better than quite a few quarterbacks that have a starting job currently actually. that blunder at the end was a little depressing but eh.

NYGiants getting 'no vaseline'd' by Vick and Pittsville Squealers lost. And my Patriots got the dubya. I am a happy NFL fan. Oh and I won my fantasy playoff match.
That Packers QB is legit. Not the deer in headlights everyone expected.
Ppl seem to have forgotten... Tom Brady came in as a back-up and brought us to a Superbowl. Shit Matt Cassel came in as a back up here and brought us to 11-5. That kid shined in this loss. Yeah the mistake at the end was costly but just about everyone NOT in GreenBay is chalking it up to inexperience and has been praising the kid for a good job.
There are about a dozen ppl in my FB friends list that was giving the kid props and I live in Boston. Good fun game.
Not to mention Bernard Hopkins put in work even thought the fight was a draw. And there was a SICK WEC mma card earlier this week. And a few good NBA baskeball games including my Celt's vs the Knicks that didn't disappoint like expected.
This was the best week to be sick in bed. haha.

Anyone see that hit on Austin Collie? What's that like his third concussion in one season? Kid needs to stop already.

yeah it seems like everytime collie steps on the field now he ends up getting concussed.. it's a shame really because he's a good player. wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't play again this season just to be safe. or not until the super bowl, if they make it, which they won't.

Well, at least Giants and Bucs lost... Packers just have to win rest of season for wildcard, that and Bears loss today would give them conference I think.

Am I the only one who thinks it's somewhat ridiculous that pretty much any team from the NFC west can go to the playoffs, and the packers may not.
Weird.

That pisses me off more than anything this season, a losing record team in NFC west will go to playoffs while multiple teams with better records than any of them will get fcked over.

LOL I'd love to see the Falcons in the big game vs my Patriots Mike. It is a good matchup that I think would favor us.
I'm with Tasdik and Mr. Joey on the disgust about whats going on with the NFC West. It is crazy how this might play out.
