N. Korea is a threat as any other country, as they obviously can take lives, and thats enough to be one.

Neither could they -_-. Their missiles are inadequate, and have extremely low explosive power. Even if they had one that worked, our anti-missile equipment would destroy it in minutes, and all of their nuclear factories/plants or whatever would be air raided.

It was also reported that the Walrus sank many of the Roosevelt’s escorts, including the nuclear submarine USS Boise, a cruiser, several destroyers and frigates, plus the command ship USS Mount Whitney. Just because world hunger isn't solved doesn't mean we can't send out spacecraft. It would be better to try to do both at the same time. Exploring space is more important than most people think...

No we haven't been able to keep up a sustained fusion reaction. We are getting close though. I'm pretty sure we will get there in the next few years.

Well, sure we can't do fusion yet, but fission has been around for years.

Agreed on the exploring space but it's one of those things that more than a few countries disagree on - how best to do it. I'm a little annoyed that we haven't even gone to Mars yet - manned, that is. It's been a little while since the moon.
