Taken from Reddit- Just some perspective amid the frenzy over symbolic victories.
War in Iraq Estimated cost: $806,000,000,000+
Coalition Deaths : 4,770
Estimated Civilian Deaths : 98,380–107,369
War in Afghanistan Estimated cost: $444,000,000,000+
Coalition Deaths: 2,441
Estimated Civilian Deaths: 14,000-34,000 1
note: Afghanistan civilian death figures are estimated from addition of figures of deaths per year (2003-2010) from different sources.
While it might be seen as a moral victory and gives rest to the families of the victims of 9/11, this in no way will spell the end of the war or the doom of al-Qaeda, because let's put it this way, Osama really hasn't even been the leader of al-Qaeda for a long time. So the whole idea that this war is over is just out right crazy.
No really i can't judge if it is real or fake , i guess DNA is the way to judge and what did that , you know "That" ?

No one is claiming that the threat of terrorism is over.
They're claiming that a known terrorist leader is now confirmed dead, which is huge news. It's a great day to be an American.

How is it a great day to be American? I mean sure the guy was an incredibly evil person, but does 9/11 justify the amount of harm that has been placed on many people who have died due to this war many of whom are innocent casualties? How does the killing of a man become some kind of victory? The chanting of USA USA is just udder non-sense and the fact that many people believe the war is over, when this war has been on for nine years, in which I might add Osama has not been the leader of Al-Qaeda for a long time due to health issues. This war isn't even about Osama anymore, and killing him really honestly won't change anything, drones will still be used to kill innocent people, the war in Iraq will still be on, and there will be people in this world doing stuff much more inhumane and more disturbing then anything Al-Qaeda could ever think of. Besides I would have rather seen him tried in court and sentenced, now he will be seen as a martyr to all those who supported him.
TL;DR The death of Osama will change nothing in this world, besides it being a moral victory and giving the victims of the family some peace, which I might add is 10 years late.

A murderer is someone who kills one person may it be randomly, revenge, power, what ever where as a terrorist is someone who threatens the nations (or even worlds) security o.O
Well , Those "terrorists" have thier reasons , Thier families got murdered by America before they even know how to spell terrorism .
I am talking about those +30k civilian loses that happened at afghanistan and the +100k at Iraq . What do you expect the reaction of someone when his family gets killed and the one that killed it is un-judged , They just tell them sorry we mistakenly bombed your neighborhood and thought it was a headquarters of terrorists .
what do you think your reaction will be when someone kills your family and is un-courted ?
America used half a million of explosives on civilian cities at Iraq and killed thousands of un-armed men and women and children looking for the "legendary" weapons that were never there , They were actually there to deplete Iraq petrol ( and they did that ) .
I don't support taking revenge the way they did but every action forms a reaction , they should have thought about that before killing those innocents that had no guilt to be killed for .
Those 19 men that did the 11/9 attack already lost thier families or whatever reason they had before they were terrorist , it didn't come out of nothing .
Nobody expects to be a terrorist when he grows up , it is his surroundings that make him so and a bit of encouraging .

I am not buying it and yeah he was a muslim (some call it a muslim by name only) .
At least if they want to claim that they know islamic tradition , bury him in the ground (not throw him in the sea) and don't get him out of it again once you put him ( and don't burn him before burying him ) .
