I like table tennis, used to play it all the time back in England when i had a tabe, but i prefer normal tennis more. I like to have the power and the movement of real tennis but table tennis is really hard. I'd say go to the tourny nothing to lose. Have my support ^^

basketball I'm alright at that since most people who play basketball does coaching
tennis i used to play but i got bored of it cuz it was abit slow paced
soccer too many soccer clubs in Auckland so much competition for the a team in soccer i dont take coaching in that
rugby, seriously rugby in NZ is for islanders , its pure bruteforce at tackling apart from some short sprinting and weight gaining, no skill at all in it.
In table tennis you don't run unless you play seriously (regional teams, national etc)
I don't really think Table Tennis is just an old mans game
dude i reckon these guys wuld be quite fit

I play almost every day and love it. I've been to my county's championship final, and i've lost. However, I really enjoy it. Apart from that, i'm pretty good at chess, too.

Go do it, you might not ever get this chance again - that beats "having $80" which you'll definitely do again, or "being in school some more" which you've been doing for how long now?

hehe, table tennis...
play it once in a while, non-professionally, and table tennis is one of my must-watch events in the Olympic Games (watch China pwn:P ). but i'd take badminton, tennis, and soccer over table tennis any day. although since 2/3 of the year here in Vancouver is rain season, i really don't have much time playing badminton/tennis/soccer. im not one of those hardcore sport fan that is willing to get soaking wet playing a sport.
