Actually, if you take a look at ballistics and how they work, unless you have a traveling trajectory, a bullet to the head is pretty instantaneous because the turbulence of mushrooming lead acts like an egg beater as it travels through soft tissue. It is one of the reasons why the Geneva Convention required all bullets to be full metal jacket. (Because if you get shot somewhere else, say the abdomen, you have 0 chance of survival with a lead bullet)  Im an Officer's brat. gotta agree with her besides don't alot of bullet spread out after impact so the area affected is alot greater than the area hit.....besides i don't think the brain can feel pain, i heard that somewhere but i could be wrong *shrug* agreed

lots of interesting ogrish stories of what people saw here..
so ill share one of mine......
I saw this vid with an arab guy being sentenced to death by execution for the crime of raping, all i saw was a 3 m stick being shoved up that guys ass and his face showing excrutiating pain, then i saw the stick poping out of his throat, i turned the video off and didnt see anything after that.
god that was disgusting

Anyways im not sure if this has been posted yet, but did you guys hear about the guy who was sentenced to death by lethal injection and it took him longer than 30 minutes to die? He even had to get up and go to the bathroom...

Oh uhmm and to anything of the above I said ... I have to add the following: The deed it's self does not phase me much. I can watch a 20 min clip of 300 + people getting killed in the most hard to believe ways.
What I have just recently discovered is that I can NOT stand it when someone 'cries' or 'screams' in pain. Full on torture is ok .. till they person receiving starts screaming .. then it's backspace button for me. May sound cruel ... but sound is just the last straw I can take >.>
