So after ~8 years of Balkenende failure today is the day we'll find out what the next 4 years have in store for us.
Top contenders: PvdA (labor party, left) and VVD (liberal, right) Economic crisis hit us hard, all of the parties are proposing extreme cutbacks, so I voted for the one that wasn't going to cut back on my studies and wasn't going to take away my free scholarship. Definitely not the party I would consider voting for normally, but you have to do what you have to do. In the end I had to choose between the noobs who failed for the last 8 years and a bunch of commie hippies. I wouldn't forgive myself if I ended up making the Netherlands into a new communist state with PvdA, GroenLinks and SP (they're proposing a new 60% tax rate), so I had to go with the goddamn failures of CDA. Goddamn economic crisis is even ruining my first ever vote Let's just pray for the best of both worlds where my scholarship is safe, but where VVD cuts back on all this ridiculous stuff we have in the Netherlands.

You should've voted PVV like I did... They just want the best
The best for who? If you don't look at their Islam positions their program is completely worthless and unrealistic. You really have to look at the big picture, because their Islam propositions are just not going to happen. Remove Islam from the picture and the party is as worthless as Trots op Nederland.

VVD here, that 'stemwijzer' gave me PvdA but my dad told me more about the programs and VVD wants to fix the debt we got now instead of pushing it forward till the next generation, which means we'd have about double it (600billion atm) when we're like 40.
As for the PVV, i don't understand why people vote for them. They won't get in a coalition unless they radically change their programme, which they (if i may believe mister Wilders) won't. So a vote for the PVV is a useless vote and we saw that before with the regional elections (gemeenteraadsverkiezingen in Den Haag en Almere).

And let see what we get in return 1) Olmost free education 2) Good health care 3) Social support for poor people 4) Social support for people with a disability 5) should i keep going?

Well if your wish of making "a lot and a lot of money" is coming true, then you might want to consider voting for someone else next time
PvdA and VVD going neck to neck atm If they're going 'Paars' we're pretty much fucked for our studiefinanciering. D66, PvdA and VVD are all for changing it.
edit: 60% tax rate is only a proposition. Current rate is somewhere in the low 50's, like 52% for the highest incomes.
@woutR Rates are going up.. but that is bad for the economic growth... there will be alot of poldering so i think it will go up at 55 - 57%. I hope it will get PVV VVD en CDA (and maby SGP). Studiefinanciering moeten ze gewoon met hun poten van afblijven, heb geen zin om met een schuld te zitten aan het einde van mijn studie.

yeah i have heard Europe is a lil more socialist than the US but losing more than half of your money to taxes must hurt :\. I think the standard tax rate here is around 33% and imo thats quite high.

PvdA voter here. This is just too exciting to watch.
Which is why I'm not watching No seriously, NOS is failing pretty hard. The technological gadgets are pissing me off, like how they tap the screen all the time and new statistics fly on and off the screen.. just keep it simple. NOS is a complete sell out to RTL, the summer where they introduced 'funny' segments in the news made me want to kill myself. 8 o'clock national news broadcast and it's concluded with an elephant who can paint? I don't like NOS anymore.
Current results: VVD: 31 PvdA: 31 PVV: 24 CDA: 21 GL: 10 D66: 10 others are 2.
fixed,
BTW, i think PVV is most pathetic party that exist right now, i still find it funny that Wilders thinks that he Jewish
But there is one little thing that i agree with PVV that is; No money for Greece!! Cause we gave money to Iceland, they fu*ked us, they don't wanna give the money back now.
Every political party promises so much, but in the end almost nothing changes.
Gotta go vote in Belgium on Sunday, it'll be an easy vote for me.
If you don't know whose going to win in Belgium by now, you've been living in a cave 1 party has a solution for the Belgian problems, and it aren't the noobs that messed it up last time

I know SP isn't the right party for me if I would like to make lots of money, but I don't mind paying taxes, i'm quite a socialist
As for the studiefinanciering, I think you're right:we're gonna get f*cked. It's not fair, we just finished our VWO and now we won't get any studiefinanciering

N-VA will win and I'll be voting for them. I've voted for them in the previous elections when they were still small, now they'll be the biggst party. At least people have started to realise what the best choice is.
