So I was weight lifting (wasnt THAT heavy, but I did lots of reps) on Monday and now that I just woke up my left arm really hurts. Especially the opposite site of my elbow. To keep the pain to the minimum, I have too keep my forearm and upper arm in a 90 degree angle. My right arm also hurts but not as much.
Anyone experienced this before? What should I do now?

Well it's been two days, so something like that shouldn't really happen, but usually my muscles get sore, but I don't really feel pain.

Were you used to working out? If you're completely not used to it, and overdo it on the first time you might really get some muscleache. Usualy the first day you feel it, but it wont hurt as much as the second day. I'dd suggest using some 'creme' stuff for overworked muscles, massage it in a bit and see if it gets better by tommorow. If it wont atleast improve in a day i'dd call a doc to be sure, we cannot feel your pain so, you'll have to be the judge of that yourself.

Well I agree with most of the above post, just don't worry about calling a doctor-only gonna waste money and ppl's time. It's pretty normal if you're not use to working out and since you didn't really use a lot of weight and just did a ton of reps your arms are just sore. Drink water or power/gatorade to gain some of the electrolytes back and it will help speed up the healing process. You should have full movement back in about 1-3 more days depending on how bad it is or how fast you heal.

you possibly have a radius-fracture. well, if it really hurts if you open/close your elbow.

that or you tore a muscle. haha, that's the goal. no, i mean like when you have to wear a cast for months. I remember my friend tore his thigh muscle while playing soccer and had to wear a cast for like 2 months (and couldn't put weight on it).

look.. first time you go to the gym.. or start a diff type of weight lifting your body part affected by the training will kill you.. don't go crazy start low then keep going higher . by time you will carry 2x what every you used to carry and its nothing. go to a sauna after weight lifting it helps alot!

(that's saying something) Pipi, you are right handed, correct? Yes right handed. Hmm This is not my first time doing weight lifting. Just this time I think I overextended myself. I did 10 sets of 10 reps bench incline and then 10 sets of 10 reps bench decline (total 200 reps) with 70 pounds each rep. That is not much, surprised I'm this hurt... especially when I'm sort of used to working out. My left arm feels better now than when I woke up, but still pain is present (can't fully extend it). I'm surprised this pain took 2 days to show up, in the past when I worked out it might hurt the next day but not after 2 days. It's all good I suppose, nothing serious... but it sucks.. I planned to work out today too.

well, based on ur response that it took two days to show up, then it's just DOMS(delayed onset muscle soreness). for 200 reps, that sorta thing should definitely appear. i'm guessing ur regular workout has waaaaaaay less reps. it would explain why u normally feel it the next day as opposed to 2/3 days later. don't worry though. you'll be fine as long as the pain is restricted to muscle movement and not like joint/bone pain or something. try to take in more protein. it helps.

Yeap, usually I do less reps but more weight. But this time I decided to do less weight and more reps. Going to google why DOMS happens...

i can save you time. basically. it's the same thing that happens when you do less reps and more weight. you tear down muscle every time you work out with something your body is not used to and then to adjust, your body builds bigger stronger muscle or muscle that can last longer, depending on your workout. DOMS is essentially your muscle repair time. their is no proven way to reduce how long DOMS lasts or speed up muscle repair but stretching and taking more protein because that's what muscles are made of (especially after workout) is suggested to help a little.

Less is good if you want to lose some fat and gain some tone. More is good if you want to lose some fat and gain some muscle.
I am doing more weight, less reps. Which has actually been very good for me. I'm now almost double what I started and I'm well above my body weight.

i would just suggest always taking protein after a workout. protein shakes are alright and post-workout shakes are obviously good but for the money and taste, the best imo is chocolate milk. you need about a 3:1 ratio of carbs to protein and chocolate milk has almost that and its a lot less expensive than protein shakes. and keep your arm moving dont keep it in the 90 degree spot. itll get better eventually

This exact thing happened to me ): Walked around school for nearly a week looking like a complete moron.
My friend told me I was doing the exercise wrong, I didn't go fully down or something with the dumbbell. I don't know the validity of it, but I've always tried to go slower and make sure I'm doing them right when I do it.
Also, I did a ton of repititions and sets, more than usual, so that was also a factor.
Just wait it out, best of luck.

Maybe it's just a bit of muscle soreness from your triceps?

I woke up today and it's feeling great.
Does that mean I can work out? Or should I wait 1-2 days extra? And If I start work out and do the same thing as last time would I get this DOMSS again?

Happens to everybody.
They say you should work through it if you can if you're trying to build muscle.

You shouldn't be doing 10 sets... 3 sets of 8-12 reps with a weight that you can barely finish with on the 3rd set.

Grab some protein shakes, eat healthy and go for your 10 sets. You can't take it easy or your body will get used to that and you will never see any change in your body. Don't do this to yourself and make sure you put the work in it, there are no shortcuts in real fitness.
