I've always felt it was a little overrated, but I do like the cinematic quality, but the story in general is bleak, and people seem to make it as the most amazing movie ever, nowhere close, but it's still good

There is nothing special about the story line in general...in all previous and present pirates of the Caribbean movies........ But Johny Depp's charisma and wittiness combined with the sense of adventure makes these movies worthwhile....
