xbox problem

whenever i put a game in my xbox i get the "opening" status in the "my xbox" menu and it won't launch the game.

its your xbox has problems reading discs. happened to my cousins xbox and you just have to open and close it till it reads.

Try to clean the disc a bit, otherwise open/close it till it reads (as said above). I have it once in a while but not more than twice maybe.

it won't eject also unless I get lucky it will after like 20 tries. 10+ restarts seem to get it working i guess. this is just an old xbox my brother in law gave me, i only will be using it for singleplayer/co-op gamming with my friends, so it won't be needing xbox live. I also don't play games that much, so getting a ps3 is not worth the money.
