Looking for my first laptop. I'm kinda between two, one has Intel Pentium P6200, the other has Intel Core i3 380M. Everything else is pretty much equal. I need laptop mostly for schoolwork, but also movies, multi tasking and occasional gaming. Price difference is about 60 bucks. Is it worth it?

I didn't check the actual specs but wouldn't the i3 be obviously better than the Pentium?
Pentium is like two generations older than the "i" Series.

the i3 I believe is a dual core with hyper threading even on laptops. As the pentium is a plain old dual core.
I would go with the i3 mainly because it's newer. New chipset, integrated GPU inside the CPU.
