Peace is a lie, there is only passion. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken.
British people need to be stop being jealous of americans and the fact that American version is better and has had more influence in the world than British english who no one gives a shit about other than making fun of funny sounding works in Oxford dictionary.

British people also need to find something better to do than QQing at words and phrases used by Americans but i understand because the US is superior in every aspect to Britain jealousies are bound to exist, though these jealousies keep the British peoples from succeeding and furthering their own country which helps the US continually be the superior country in every aspect.

Really?
But thanks Lempi! I have actually been wondering why some say "I could care less" since it doesn't sound very logical and I have heard/seen both versions but never knew what was the real difference. So thanks for clearing that up for me!
The expression I could not care less originally meant 'it would be impossible for me to care less than I do because I do not care at all'. It was originally a British saying and came to the US in the 1950s. It is senseless to transform it into the now-common I could care less. If you could care less, that means you care at least a little. The original is quite sarcastic and the other form is clearly nonsense. The inverted form I could care less was coined in the US and is found only here, recorded in print by 1966. The question is, something caused the negative to vanish even while the original form of the expression was still very much in vogue and available for comparison - so what was it?

I'm sure the British would write with proper grammar though
Only Americans and idiot countries who pick up incorrect phrases / spelling ect by learning American English instead of proper British English.
Er... Last time I heard, English, is well... English

No.
Great Britain is made up of 3 different countries, England, Wales and Scotland. All three countries have different languages. English, Welsh and Scottish Gaelic. It's just 95% of the UK speak English.

So English is English
I thought you were from UK? I would have expected you to know better.

I could care less as in I could start caring less as in lower than I already care about this thread if it keeps going on and on with this nonsense.
It is simply and expression of gross exaggeration to highlight a feeling. Saying I could care less is just saying if it was possible to care below zero I would. Its not something to be taken in its literal form. You might as well start a debate about people saying "I'm so hungry I could eat an entire horse" I think the real nonsense here is actually debating the statement for it's validity.
It seems it is possible to care less than 0 according to that meter:D
