I'm assuming a topic has already been made, but it definitely deserves another one. Got released in Australia today, so I decided to go with a couple of mates and see it... Definitely one to see! Like, if you don't see this movie... :banghead: It wasn't quite what I expected, but I could watch it over, and over again for the rest of the year.

Spoiler!

I can't wait to see it. The première was today, but unfortunately I had to work late. Maybe I'll get to see it next week when things are a little calmer.

Hopefully Loki will stick with his trickster fighting style, I loved that in Thor. Super happy Hawkeye is in it too, he was definitely one of my favourites when I read the comics as a kid.
I never liked Iron Man, but RDJ did such a great job acting as him in Iron Man that he quickly became a favourite.

I thought it was pretty good. I've never been big on superhero movies so I have to give it some credit to enjoy it for the 354 hours it goes for. My only disappointment are that the physics are so unrealistic (not that of the superheros but of common day objects, such as when cars collide and buildings are damaged etc). Apart from that its worth the watch if action movies are your thing.

It's an awesome movie if you're into superheroes kicking some ass. Just don't come there expecting a serious movie with spectacular dialogue. The jokes are as cheesy and predictable as they but it's still nonetheless a must-see. Oh, and did anyone notice how none of the bad guys could aim?! They're like 20 feet away from the target and they miss by 10.

It was great :D Watched it in 3D IMAX, but if you dont watch it in 3D, IMAX is a must

If anything, I would have watched Thor again to refresh my memory on things, but I still caught on

You mean every movie with a bad guy? It's a gigantic plot point when the enemy does manage to land a single hit in any movie. Good guys gets hundreds, enemy gets one and it's a spotlight moment.

To create more hype. This way, whenever it actually airs in the US, many people will already have heard good things about the movie from friends in other countries.

Smart move. Very smart move :sohappy:

It worked also. The avengers has more tickets pre ordered than the marvel movies that came before it combined.

Honestly the hype around this movie from my Facebook alone makes me not want to see this. Thus, I won't be seeing this until it's free on HBO or something in 5 years.

I don't care much for superhero movies and I'm not really a comic fan so not too interesting to me. The only reasons I'd even consider seeing it are Scarlet Johansen because she's hot and Robert Downey Junior because he's awesome. Still not enough to make me spend money on it.
