Went to the apple store yesterday to check it out... I didn't think I'd be overly impressed since I already have the 4s. But I was wrong. It looks and a feel great...Can't believe how light weight the dam thing is...and lightening quick at loading apps.... I got my 4s 3 months ago and am now somewhat regretting it... >_<

Don't see that much improvements, but that's because the 4S is a decent phone already. The best phone you can get at this moment, only the Lumia 920 can be better, but we need to wait that. Also the Apps for Apple are by far the best quality. Just go and compare Android and Apple apps.

Be a typical Apple buyer, upgrade your phone every update. Also do the same thing when they release the 5s 6 months from now.
Now in honesty, why do you need the 5 vs the 4s?
4G, LTE, faster processor, longer screen, light weight, More appealing design (not shape but materials used)...
The 4G LTE feature should be the only sensible reason to upgrade though (at least for me). Seeing that I'd have more coverage where I go. With my 4s I can only get service in areas that have 3G. If I wonder into a 4G only area I am hooped..

The 4S processor is plenty fast for 99% of its users, so you wouldn't need that. The 4S is already light, the 5 would fly out of your hand. Also the 4S is WAY more scratch resistant. The 5 is made out of tin cans (aluminum) and if you are one of the select people who enjoys the sleek feel of a naked phone, prepare to have it all scuffed up. If you do not believe me, theres a youtube video to prove this (4s vs 5 scratch test). The only benefit is 4G. Depending on what network you have that is the only benefit I see. Sure it has a longer screen but IMO I don't see a benefit unless they widen it.
You gonna get a Vietnam now mother, and i whipped his butt so fast and so quick, so pretty. I hit him with the Muhammad Ali left, right, left. I did the Ali shuffle!
They did a great job with the back of it but the fact that they had to increase the height makes it look like a tv remote. Still think the black-on-black iPhone 5 looks sexy as **** but I'll settle for my 4 until the next big Samsung or HTC or possibly the 5S comes out. Only reason I don't have an S3 right now is because I got this iPhone for 400$
Here's Samsung's ad making fun of Apple fans for the lulz. Now that's funny
I'm not a fan of super light phones. Call me old-fashioned, but I like my phone to have some heft to them. Feel like I'm actually holding a well-crafted device instead of some cheap-ass plastic shit. Specially love phones that used stainless steel backing. I personally like the way the Samsung Behold felt in my hand more than my S2. On to actual issues.
iPhone 5:
To decrease weight, they used aluminum with an anodized coating. The coating was shit. Hence some phones arrived pre-chipped. Lulz. To prevent scratches and chips, you'll need a case. This basically makes the "Light-ness" appealing factor pretty much null. I know friends that could play with their iPhone 4S without a case. Not gonna happen with the 5 unless you want yours to look like it spent the night banging a blender.
All the "innovative" new things about this phone is shit. Oooo you moved the headphone port. Oooo a new plug so you'll need to go buy new accessories or get an adapter. Oooo new headphone shape. Oooo larger screen (Only length not width). Nothing strikes me as "new" or "must have". 4S at least had Siri as a selling point. The 5 just has what every other phone on the market now has and is re-hashed to be sold to fanboys/girls as something new. I literally see nothing truly innovating about the iPhone 5. It's like if a car company released a new car and its only selling point was that it had "new air conditioning, movable driver seats, powered windows, and keyless entry. Woop-dee-Farking doo. That's some new shit there.

^ Good one lol... I think I'd be all of those people but not for the reason you're thinking..... Despite what you might believe from my post I've never owned anything apple until 3 months ago....So my lack of knowledge would fool me yes... not fan boy-ism (even though I'm just now becoming a fanboy)

I'm sorry, your post just came off as incredibly..apple-user-esque. Upgrading your 4S to iOS 6 should give you a small performance boost if that's any consolation. It's some of the reason why people think the iPhone 5 is "faster" than the iPhone 4S. I'm sure having an older phone full of software which could be running in the background would also feel slower than a brand new iPhone 5. Anyway it's your money in the end and you can spend it how you want. I do agree that LTE would be nice to have but I assume the latency will be as bad as any other network as soon as the masses switch over..
IMO iPhone 5 doesn't have that great and groundbreaking new features as some new phones are getting. It's still a decent phone but for the features it has i think it costs a little bit too much...
As a past iPhone owner, I can say that if I ever wanted a new phone, Android is the way to go.
I used to own an iPhone 4 before moving on to an S2 and I have to say Android is like a breath of fresh air. The amount of customization you can achieve on Android phones is one of the main reasons I will never go back to the monotone iOS.
I can install custom ROMs, switch animations, dual-boot custom ROMs, install custom Kernels, backup/restore using internal storage, transfer media using NFC, able to watch 720p, widgets... Just to name a few.
I also don't see anything truly revolutionary that will make me want to get an iPhone 5. And by the looks of it, there are more than enough reasons NOT to buy it (scratched phones? new connector? no NFC? no 720p screen?).
If Apple ever cared about their customers, they should've at least offered the new adapter at a reasonable price. Unless you want to run around with a new adapter all day long, you're gonna have to buy new car chargers, new cables, a new dock... Seriously? Seems like a ripoff IMO. Why not just keep it simple with microUSB? I keep thinking Apple-exclusiveness, like its iPhone connectors, is a load of crap.

I quite like the iPhone 5, actually. Everyone says that there is nothing special about it, nothing that sets it aside from the previous iPhones, but what they've done on the inside really is quite impressive.

And that would be...?
Well, compared to the SIII I mean. Looking at the raw specs and then benchmarks. The iPhone 5 comes up on top with seemingly lower specs.
Apple Acknowledges iPhone 5 Camera Problem, Says You’re Holding It Wrong After initially denying it, Apple has acknowledged the iPhone 5's purple flare camera problem in an email to a Gizmodo reader. Their solution: "Angle the camera away from the bright light source when taking pictures."

....... I have a very hard time believing an A6 chip will out preform an Exynos 4core chip. In fact after a very quick google I found that certain benchmark scores were lied about..
Then we have to ask, why the hell do people think benchmarks are any indication of real life performance? They aren't..You're using the same buzzwords people who stand in line for the iPhone 5 for 2 weeks use.
^ Whether a benchmark says its faster or an actual customer experience says it faster it doesn't seem you'd buy into it so what's the point?...Kinda funny how apple worshipers spawn their equal opposites..
