what will you get when you park a nice car [with bulletproof glass] with valuable goods in it in a bad neighborhood?

After hurling that brick at it, what did they think they would accomplish by jump kicking and elbowing it?

It would have awesome been if he did miraculously manage to shatter it...and end up shredding/smashing up his gooseberries.

I hope the camera bag was full of something like packing peanuts, tampons, or urine.

Funny how they kept going for that one door. Would of been an interesting test if all the other windows were regular except for that one.

But yeah I wonder what happened next.
That's some serious dedication they got tryiung to bust that window

I think it came to the point where it was less about getting to the goods inside the car and more about just defeating the window.

I have to admit that I'm surprised the golf club worked where the brick failed.

Probably because he wasn't using all his strength with the brick out of fear that he'd hurt himself with it. At the beginning he's not even following through, just tossing the brick at the window, anyone who's taken self defense classes can tell you if you don't follow through you don't deliver much force. The golf club lets him follow through without worrying about scratching his hands up or hitting himself.

It has come to a conclusion that if BakeMaster and Eukanuba were to join up in a 2 man tag team debate crew. They Will Be Undefeatable.

Did you miss the part where they repeatedly hurl the brick at it, and it bounces off, landing about four feet from the car? How about the part where it bounces off and almost(?) nails the dude in the face?

Now that I watched the video again, I think it was more whatever they used to pry at the window than the golf club that did it.

Also, I like the part when the guy runs up to the window and starts patting it with his hands.

Too tired to explain to you the several reasons why tossing a brick is less effective than swinging a golf club. Short version, 1) follow through 2) deflection 3) leverage. It's all simple physics.

or did you take into fact the smaller surface area so thus same engery just concentrated into a smaller area and due to him using a screw driver before to wedge the glass out it all come into play when he swung

i am going to Eukanuba's side

ballistic projectiles (eg. bullets), where is the follow through, deflection or leverage in that?

mass X accleration = force, the reason that the brick didn't break the glass because that pencil-neck didn't accelerate it enough, and just like Master_wong said, it has a large surface area to spread the force

the golf club didn't do the job, that guy pried the glass open from the side using a screwdriver

lol Let the nerds bring physics into a discussion about a video of people trying to break into a car. Just watch and enjoy, nobody cares how much you know about crap. 8)

I'm sticking to the prying implement as the main cause of success.

That golf swing wasn't as powerful as some would have us believe - just look at the direction in which it is deflected. As hard as they swung it, the power delivered was no where near the top of its potential because of the angle of impact.

Also, I would rather take that guy's golf club to the face than his brick hurling. Not saying that I want to, just that I'd find it preferable over the other option.

I think the dropkick>brick, golf club, crowbar combined.
