It should.

If it's iPod you're talking then check if TVOUTPUT or something similar is checked...and un-check it.

yeah, vlc is great, it really does play anything,

i use it now for over 2 years i think, might be even longer and never had a file which it wouldn't play.

you can also use it as your music player, it has a playlist function as well

you need to get a proggie called G-Spot, you open the file with that proggie and it will tell you exactly which codecs you need for the audio and video, then you simply find the codecs you need, and install them. violla.
