i work at a horror trail during halloween and we need new music.

Not just any music, mainly looking for music that starts off hard or a has a shock effect that would be good playing while scaring the peoples.

If it has any words in the music close to the beginning, i would like for them not to be cuss words since we do have church groups/ kids some through some times.

Thx:]

Most music with shock/exciting will keep your guests oblivious. ^ will set the mood. Listen to it alone with the lights off in the middle of the night :O

lol Ill look around some more

try turning off the lights, play the dimmu song, then when the music starts someone in corps-suit should stand up covered in blood and with a flashing light in the darness walk towards the screaming children

if their not traumatized then, nothing will

Couldnt find an online version, but this would surely cover them in splinters, if played in the dark ^__^

Videodrone - Devil's Sweepstakes

Edit: Or Marilyn Manson's Cleansing, its plain instrumental, quite good for the occasion. Ever played Painkiller? Has some real nice heavy soundtracks :)

Zypher, try avoiding popular theme songs for your video. That will make the people go like "oh i know that song, it's from this X movie and...." and lose interest in your movie.

I got a degree in media, based on cinema and that's one of the things we, as film makers, try to avoid, so we create our own soundtracks, but if you cant do that, then try to look for non popular songs.

hope that helps :)

Dimmu Borgir has a lot of good heavy instrumental music. I'd try some songs from Death Cult Armageddon, the song Vredesbyrd is my favorite off that album and would probably work good.

Vredesbyrd

Might also wanna check out Cannibal Corpse. Like if you really really wanna screw up some kids, they'll be sure to crap their pants as soon as they hear this: Hammer Smashed Face

If you're really lucky with P2P you might be able to get some Turmion Katilot but it's a bit of a long shot and I went through hell getting their albums. Heaviest metal on Earth right now though lol.

Wow. Wu. I was gonna post that same song but didn't know if Zypher wanted that stuff.

I found this one.

Belphegor-Bleeding Salvation
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i29xn6FXbxc

May not be appropriate if you have church groups coming but--
Dimmu Borgir-Tormentor of Christian Souls

If you need a back up idea, try Satyricon. They got sort of a haunting sound to them in a way.

Well what is the most important.. the scareness of the overall song or a sudden start of the song :P

For a 'dark' atmosphere you can try this: http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fu ... D=67012263

For some loud music check this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1nK0bSBkuNw

watch the full vid, the first half is justintro

or anything from these http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=36EEasaPmVM lol

or this, you can ever show them the entire clip, its child friendly

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8Qr9ElWhJD4

lol

hope you can find something that fits what ur looking for

The Doom3 theme song:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hQdIMRhwwZ8

Or...you could always do a quick "Terrorcore" search: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=c-NQDdUAwQU
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HwaXlwHqx7I

Other than that I don't know...the Doom3 theme song is a classic though...

Satyricon - With Ravenous Hunger.. you can call it 'shocking'.... well the studio recording is.. p.s. i was there

Dark Funeral - 666 voices inside.. this is kinda creepy through the whole song =p

I'll look for more later.. :)

But i think that dimmu song would work best
