Rant derived from anger and bafflement

I bought my laptop last winter. Dell Inspiron, okay specs and okay price. Little under for gaming, but could handle most online games.

Honestly, I don't remember what my computer was like 4 months ago, but now its driving me nuts, and its a problem that I CANNOT figure out a solution to.

MY FUXING COMPUTER LAGS!!! YES, YOURS MAY TOO, BUT MINE IS THE A RETARDED KIND OF LAGG!

Immediately after turning my computer on, I will, for example, play mabinogi. About 40 minutes into a game with no lag, no slowdown, my computer's fan will DRASTICALLY and ABRUPTLY begin to WHIR VIOLENTLY and suddenly my computer has transformed into a pc that performs like one of those 10 year old, slowass computers made out of white plastic. This continues in intervals: 40 min good, 10 min bad, 20 min good, 20 min bad and so on. It obviously becomes worse and worse the longer I have the game on, with MORE time taking to return to a "good" state.

Obviously this is not a computer tech forum. If not solutions, does anyone know at least the REASONS why my computer acts like this??

here's an idea...put the peice of shit down and go outside. play a sport, hang out with friends. if you are so sick of it, find something better to do!!!!!

Reason it acts that way is because your PC is old. It's prolly overheating or something and the fans are eating all your power, then everything slows the hell down because of it, then it cools off and goes back to normal.

a laptop you say? its probably overheating so the fan goes crazy to cool it down. it doesnt matter if it wasnt like it before, hardware dosnt last forever.

If you've been playing a lot of games on it, that would be the cause. Playing games on a laptop can put some enormous strain on the system on a whole and can basically cause the processor to slow down and the graphics card to start to burn out. (at least, this is what I've seen and kinda have with my laptop)

This is similar to the problem I had.

Solution that worked for me : Buy more fans, your comp is prolly overheating.

Perhaps you have to clean it O_o My pc got faster after I removed the dust etc..(bit harder with laptops tho)

Could always try a laptop cooling mat. Should keep the laptop cooler and stop the fans coming on. Or try reformatting it, see if that makes any difference.
