I don't play anymore either but i left not long ago.

I don't exactly hate them, but i'm annoyed by them. There are more than 20 servers and more than half of the spots in every server are taken by goldbots (when the euro client came out and no bots were working for the first couple of days, the servers were on easy and populated in the usually crowded hours) who KS anyone. It's sad too that, when you see a mob, 1 second after, you see 5 chars running after it trying to kill it.

To me, botting is pathetic, you should etiher play the game or don't even install it. What's the point of botting until a high level/cap, brag about some fictional items and how hard you can hit a mangyang?... At least players who reach the cap handgrinding have a feeling of acomplishment, it's not about the "zomg i pwnage", it's about play a game you enjoy and feel that the hours you spent logged in, chatting with friends, developing your build, making your guild grow, were worth. Basically, a game like this should be played to socialize and to have a goal that involves other people helping you to reach that goal, not about who gets the best magic stick.

That's why i don't like botters, the players because they didn't make an "effort" (but that doesn't bother me that much, after cap, they could get into the social part of the game. The sad thing is that not many fo them do, or at least not in a possitive way), and the goldbots because they just feed the laziness of the people, the greed for intangible items, and become an obstacle for those who don't want/need them.

I hate joymax more then bots for letting it happen atm i dont see any reason why anyone would want to play sro imo all legits should leave it to the bots and never give that shithole of a company called joymax any cent of their hard earned money.

back when i played on xian, i did hate bots.
i hated bots when they first came in the game cos' they ruined everything and i stayed legit till the day i left that aweful (imo) server.

i see so many new players say they hate bots etc.
imho, some don't understand the war the legits had with the bots when it first happened, and they're just blabbering to keep the flames going.

its like fighting a losing battle.
but its good to see the legits fighting back, again.

i stopped caring the moment i stopped playing.

what Avalon has done in Venus with the whole hunt down botters thing - brilliant. there may be hope for a good server just yet.

I don't hate botters....I hate assholes and there are alot more legit assholes than botting assholes.

I've heard that so many times and it's definitely not true. Hell the game is probably 5-7% legits. There is no way whatsoever there are more assholes in that 5-7%. Furthermore a large percent of bots don't speak English so the chances of you knowing they are assholes or not are slim.

They've been desperate to come up with some kind of slogan that had any traction whatsoever. Over the last week, so many legits have beaten down their puerile arguments that this is what they've resorted to: "I may be a botter, but at least I'm not an asshole." I've been called an asshole by people that know me. Damn dude, my friends all call me an asshole. Some botter posting on the internet calls me an asshole? Meh.

For those of you who say "I don't care about player bots, its the gold bots I can't stand" are most likely those who haven't been to that high of a level because the higher level you get, the more you realize how player bots affect the game. That's because it will be the player bots who end up taking up your grind spots at the higher levels rather than the gold bots who do so at the lower levels. IMO player bots have just as big if not more of an impact than gold bots do on the overall game because most likely they are the ones who give the biggest portion of demand for buying gold that gold bots supply. Also if you break down the aspects of the game you will realize the effect player bots have:

Want to grind? You'll spend a good amount of time finding a spot that ISN'T packed with people botting away, some with KS on. After you find a good spot it's most likely that 20-30 mins later another botter will come, maybe with sosun, and start ksing your spawns making you have to find another grind spot again.

Want to pvp? Well first you need to get past the wall of sosun that most of the players got while "afk" or through buying gold, therefore making them "pwn" at this game. After that if you manage to find someone to pvp it will most likely be with someone that will go "ZOMG GFG" if they win or "I lagged", "You got lucky" if they lose, not to mention the drama that I've seen through cape fighting alone.

Want to just chat? Unless you have a guild already and you can quietly set your chat to guild only you will have to go through endless globals about people and how proud they are about their "accomplishments" they got because of their program. Also from those same people, you have the other GCs with people that have the silliest feudes on who's the better botter.

Want to get in the server? If you're playing on an older server and unless you're willing to shell out the money for silk to get the premium then expect a good amount of your time just logging in because of the gold bots and the player bots (who are likely running more than one character 24/7) taking up the space.

I'm glad I've quit this game and I seriously doubt Joymax is ever going to do what they need to do to fix the problems that will end up being the grave of this game. The next game I plan to play (comes out March 9th if there isn't another big delay) will be something that requires actually being in front of a screen in order to "pwn".

Why i hate bots.

1. You can't talk to a bot
2. Bots are cheaters
3. Most botters are jerks when they aren't afk
4. Botters take up too much traffic (and i mean gold bots, some botters run gold bots on the side to fund their main, and stall charectors come on, saw a pic of a guy with 20 clients running at once) wouldn't be so bad if they couldn't multi client, its the insult of 80% of the server not being full of players
5.Just lame, why play the game if you dont' want to play the game?
